@Infinity_X5964 @SpecterGr1d @xMBGx Denuvo requires periodic online checks in some versions and also has additional online checks upon hardware- and software changes (which are not uncommon on PC). Cracking is illegal, so that is not really a solution.

you only need internet during the first launch.
and if it bothers you so much you can just crack it or wait for the publishers to remove it (usually after 1~2 years)

@xMBGx Steam has much strichter DRM, often games on Steam have online DRM, which PlayStation, Switch and Xbox do not have, so no, Steam is not a good alternative from my pov. GOG and itch would be, but they lack a lot of games.

Sure if it's from steam you would need a steam emu to make it work without a license. But if its from GOG then you just click play
