The most important thing is that I have my own identity, my own voice, and I am expressing my opinion through my own perspective and from my identity. This is my freedom of expression, and it is a very narrow mindset to assume that someone is feeding me messages or influencing what I write. I have my own mind, my own knowledge, and my own understanding of things. As far as illegal demands are concerned, if you read my tweet carefully, I never mentioned anything illegall. I clearly stated that the university is facing financial constraints. Out of the 2 billion rupees allocated by the government, only around 25%, roughly 500 million, has actually been received by the university. Teachers are not receiving their salaries properly, even though they are among the best faculty in Pakistan and are teaching you. Despite this, they are not going on strikes or disrupting the education system; they continue to teach and keep the system running. It is also important to understand that Quaid-e-Azam University is not the only public university in Pakistan receiving government funding. Many other universities are in a similar situation, and this reflects a broader issue in the country’s higher education system. In this situation, the administration cannot be blamed. If the government does not release the required funds, it is not fair to hold the university administration solely responsible.
