@Jamwanda2 Have u ever heard people demonising African indigenous capital in the mode of Strive Masiyiwa, Shingi Mutasa, Divine Ndhlukula etc.? Why? Their wealth is legit & its through sheer diligence. That is what people respect, u can't legislate respect, its earned.

@CucsmanE The binary toxicity is dangerous, its always cast in two dimensional thinking. Its either ZPF or RF Smith. We should n't compare the 2 worst scenarios. Multi-dimensional thinking proposes critical thinking. We can't choose btwn 2 evil systems. This is where we say none of the two

@CucsmanE You didn't live during his reign of terror, u were still very young. The fact that ZPF has messed up doesn't mean we should invoke the name of another devil in the name of racist Smith. We have to reject both evil systems that exploit people. We have to reimagine a new system.

@ali_naka We are in dangerous territory. There is likely to be a constitutional crisis. A President of the National Assembly who is more popular & more powerful than the State President. It means Sonko is the next President. What should happen now?

As we await the reconvening of Parliament, this is not the time for distraction, fragmentation or personality contests. It is the time for focus, discipline and coordination. Across civil society, churches, legal actors and political formations, a constitutional consensus is steadily emerging. Zimbabwe’s future will not be secured by individuals acting alone, but by disciplined collective action anchored in constitutionalism. #DefendTheConstitution

@PhillipSibanda8 Even if u r given 10mins interview , u will still find a good reason to dismiss it. That is what cognitive bias does to us. This is the reason why u see people following fake prophets. For us who don’t suffer from cognitive distortions, this recording sets the record straight.

Before people rush to judge and spread a small audio clip circulating on social media claiming it is Nelson Chamisa speaking, let us first be fair, responsible, and intelligent as a society. An audio clip of less than 60 seconds can never be treated as solid evidence against anyone. In today’s world of technology, people can imitate voices, edit recordings, manipulate sounds, and even use artificial intelligence to create fake conversations. We all know there are talented imitators who can sound exactly like public figures. That is why mature societies do not condemn people based on short viral audios without proper verification. We cannot destroy reputations, create confusion, or fuel hatred using unverified social media clips. Anyone can record, edit, cut, and spread an audio with a hidden agenda. The question we must ask ourselves is: where is the full recording, where is the context, and who verified that the voice is genuinely his? As Zimbabweans, we must learn to think critically instead of becoming emotional every time something trends online. Today it is Chamisa; tomorrow it could be another innocent person. Leaders, celebrities, and public figures are easy targets for misinformation. Let us not allow social media propaganda and fake narratives to divide us or manipulate public opinion. Truth must always come before excitement. Facts must come before rumours. A responsible nation does not judge people through a 20-second viral audio clip. ONLY a FOOL would accept a media house that presents EVIDENCE of what a GUEST said in an interview MINUS the QUESTION that produced the answer. An interview is NOT a rally or a press statement where one speaks freely without prompt, it is a structured exchange of QUESTIONS and RESPONSES. Therefore, isolating responses from their QUESTIONS, CONTEXT, and PURPOSE is not journalism; it is distortion. What exactly was the QUESTION asked? What was the PURPOSE of the interview? What was the full CONTEXT of the exchange? Without that, you are not informing the nation—you are manufacturing impressions and feeding cheap gossip for “I told you so” narratives and political hate clubs. We are a nation that deserves RESPECT, ACCURACY, and FULL CONTEXT, not selective audio fragments designed to suit agendas. If you want to be taken seriously, report FULL Facts, otherwise you risk turning DailyNewsZim into a platform of MEDIOCRITY rather than credible journalism......!!!!!

@PriscaMutema2 @mimmitwit @matigary @Mavhure That is bizzare! Getting converted by the people he wanted to convert. All the work he did as a Christian going to waste, becoming an atheist. Its a tragic end to his life. He has even lost his close family because of this. He has to rediscover the faith that he lost.

@ChikomoPrazen U r missing the whole gist of this interview. Nero said he never had an interview with Daily News. He said its fiction. Now we have established that he lied. He had an interview in which he was denigrating others. That is all we wanted to prove.

@ChikomoPrazen This is a futile academic exercise. If someone besmirch u, saying derogatory obscenities, what proof do u need? Its there in the recording. What u should interrogate is why did Nero stoop this low? Why did he choose this path? No need to come guns blazing defending him for a lie.

Calling it “cognitive dissonance” doesn’t replace evidence or context. In any interview or recorded exchange, meaning is not carried by the response alone, it is shaped by the question, the framing, and the full conversation. Stripping out that context and then declaring “duplicity” is not proof of lying; it is interpretation built on an incomplete record. If the goal is truth, then the full exchange should be examined before conclusions are made. Otherwise, what is being presented is not clarity “as noonday,” but a selective reading that risks misrepresenting what was actually said and why it was said.....!!!!

@VaKarikoga @ZimViral We should just point to Jesus the author & finisher of our faith. Otherwise some would say Jesus was in the desert for 40 days, another would choose the water, another the mountain, another oil. All of that is not important for prayer life. The name of Jesus is all we need.

This is warped logic masquerading as principle! The demand for time- limited roles pertains only to public office, and that is the standard anywhere in the world, because beyond that there is no legitimate public interest claim on a private entity whose business is the preserve only of its members. Stop trying to be too clever by half!🙄

When leaders come, they must go.
When leaders serve, they must leave.
Unless they are dealers and crooks. True leaders know when to leave.
Dealers and crooks never do.
