We thought really faking hard about this inscribed fakes collection (DO NOT LOOK BTW) First, they are all 7x5 format... this is the first time in the pepe collections that the format went landscape Second, the provenance and parent/child tree dates back to the pepeshroom by Shroomtoshi - inscription 800 Third, the collection is entirely 1/1 - this took another break from the normal pepe collections, as those were encouraged to be editions and collectible Fourth, the recursive pieces are all inscribed on the same sat, so the collector can be comfy owning all the pieces that make up the final render Fifth, many of the pieces are featured in the top 50 largest pieces on ord.io - there was a lotta BTC spent inscribing these mammoth pieces Sixth, the sats are all nakamoto sats - from the rare pepe genesis block Seventh, this is an inscribed pepes & fake rares collaborative venture to bring fine memetic art to ordinals Eight, there are two pieces that we haven’t unveiled yet… stand by for more soon This is series 1 May it be the first of many 🥂🐸🧡

Managed to snag the pair of @InscribedPepe for a few bitcorns through @0wl_btc and his willingness to be the middleman in a transaction between two unknowns. Was honestly quite a tense situation given that I've only chatted with him a handful of times but it worked out in the end. Could definitely have gone south if there was some level of social engineering going on (and this has been the most common place scam when it comes to otc transfers between people). There's a new platform called @crowescrow which seems pretty interesting. They are a Web3 escrow service for secure peer-to-peer transactions for sending & receiving funds safely. Would have elected to use them had I not already started the process with 0wl and the original owner.
