Today is @HSJptsafety event About 7.5 months ago? I was sent- anonymously- a case of a Physician Assistant doing a neurosurgical procedure in an unconscious patient- without supervision from a Consultant I raised it -formally-to @CareQualityComm duly - as advised by @NHSEmployers @NHSEngland Multiple asks for update- for a simple query Is this correct? If so, has this been looked into- and assurances of this being prevented in future To protect the public 7.5 months later? I am none the wiser If you are at this conference? Think whether this reflects the present state of safety Or whether more navel-gazing actually contributes to continued safety issues cc @JamesTitcombe @ShaunLintern

Anyone who, like myself and @drcmday , who have had the gross misfortune to experience the corrupt, broken and entirely unfit for purpose UK Employment Tribunal system, will appreciate the magnitude of this development and what it has taken to achieve this position.

This is the degree of cover up faced by families whose babies were killed by NHS negligence. Everyone needs to get real about the nature of what is going on - it's not all well-intentioned people falling short. It's deliberately malicious and dangerous.

Members of the public must be able to ask questions at NHS board meetings, get them answered there & then, and get a follow up question and answer in the meeting too. Transparency and accountability demand this.
