Today I’m introducing the National Constitutional Carry Act in the U.S. Senate. Americans have the right to keep and bear arms without asking for permission from hostile politicians or getting jailed for crossing the wrong state line. Stay strapped. @GunOwners @gunrights

🇮🇷 47 years ago, I stood at a window in Tehran as a 3-year-old boy, smelling burning tires and hearing the chants that would steal my country. I didn’t have words for what was happening. Today, I am watching smoke rise over the same city — but this time the smoke is not the end of Iran. It is, God willing, the beginning of her resurrection. Several weeks ago I wrote in that the fever of 1979 was finally breaking. I never imagined I would wake up to see that fever confronted so directly. Israel — with the clear support of the United States — has launched a preemptive strike deep into Tehran and against the regime’s military machinery. Explosions in the capital. Military targets hit. The IRGC’s aura of invincibility, already cracked, is shattering in real time. I do not celebrate war. No decent person does. What I celebrate — what millions of Iranians inside the country and in the diaspora have prayed for in secret for decades — is the possibility that a regime which has no right to exist may finally be forced to go. This is the same regime that: - Armed and cheered the October 7 massacre against Israel for no reason other than pure genocidal hatred. - Murdered tens of thousands of its own sons and daughters who dared to walk peacefully in the streets demanding the most basic freedoms. - Gouges out the eyes of young women for the “crime” of wearing makeup. - Hangs teenagers from cranes for posting a tweet. - Exports terror, poverty, and darkness to every corner it can reach including the U.S. No nation, no people, should have to live under that. Not Israelis. Not Americans. Not Lebanese. Not Syrians. And certainly not Iranians. I am a physician who has spent his life trying to heal bodies and a son of Iran who has spent his life mourning a stolen homeland. What we are witnessing is not aggression — it is surgery. Painful, necessary surgery to remove a tumor that has metastasized for 47 years. The tumor is the Islamic Republic that has hijacked Iran. To the brave pilots and special operators of the Israeli Air Force and the men and women of the United States military now carrying out this mission: I pray for you with everything I have. May God shield you from harm. May every missile find its target and every soldier return home safely to the families who love them. You are not invaders. You are the answer to the prayers of millions who have whispered “enough” in the dark since 1979. You are giving our friends the chance to breathe free air again. The entire region will owe you a peace we have not known in my lifetime. To my fellow Iranians watching from inside the country right now, heart pounding, maybe hiding in basements or on rooftops: Hold on. The end is clearer than it has ever been. The regime’s fear is real. Their eyes — those same eyes that once stared down at us with absolute power — now show something they haven’t shown in decades: panic. The math has changed. The window of 1979 is finally closing. To the little three-year-old boy I once was — and to every little boy and girl in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, and Tabriz today who hears explosions instead of lullabies: This time the sounds are not the closing of a door. They are the opening of one. The road ahead will not be easy. Transitions never are. But the direction is unmistakable. A secular, prosperous, free Iran is no longer a dream — it is becoming an inevitability. I have lived the stolen life so that others might not have to. Today, for the first time in 47 years, I allow myself to believe that the stealing is almost over. Thank you, Israel. Thank you, America. The Iranian people — the real Iran — will never forget. The fever is breaking. The dawn of 2026 is here. And this time, the light wins. 🇮🇷❤️🇮🇱🇺🇸

President @realDonaldTrump, @marcorubio, and @PeteHegseth, if you are going to watch any footage of Iran, this mini documentary is it. Please watch the first 15 minutes and you will bear witness to one of the greatest crimes against humanity in recent decades. The United States is the most powerful country in the world. The IRGC has been an exporter of terror around the world with nuclear ambitions only recently temporarily thwarted by our incredible military. Leaving these monsters in control of the second largest oil reserves in the Middle East — which they will continue to use to fund terror around the world, rebuild their nuclear capability, and support our arch enemies — remains an extremely serious persistent and long-term existential threat to the United States and to the world at large. President Trump, you are a man of your word. You drew a red line about the regime killing protesters. They have now reportedly killed 43,000 and blinded and maimed hundreds of thousands more. You have called out to the Iranian people to continue their protests as they have bravely done unarmed and at massive cost in tens of thousands of young lives lost to this genocidal regime. You have lived up to every commitment that you have made to the American people and to the world. Your reputation for keeping your word has restored the United States to again being respected as the most powerful nation in the world. And let’s not forget that they have attempted to assassinate you twice. President Trump, it is time to finish the job. We have important strategic, moral, economic, and ethical reasons for doing so. A world without the IRGC controlling Iran would generate a massive peace dividend forever experienced around the world. It would set a powerful and important example that the United States does not tolerate the worst form of evil. It would be one of your most important forever legacies as President of the United States. The Iranian people are an amazing people who deserve to be free from terror and evil. The United States has the most powerful military in the world as you so remarkably and masterfully demonstrated against Maduro in Venezuela. It appears that we are now locked and loaded. Let’s let them live.

Declaration of National Mourning My Dear Compatriots, Following the first stage of this great Iranian awakening during the past days, our wounded homeland has witnessed crimes against humanity, plunging the  world into shock and disbelief as a result of a massacre like no other. The blood that has been shed by thousands of our compatriots in Iran cannot be ignored nor be trampled on. The brave children of Iran have sacrificed their lives and poured their blood at the roots of the saplings of freedom. You, the great nation of Iran,  affectionately call me “The Mother of Iran. The “Mother of Iran” joins all mothers in Iran who have been denied the right to mourn the loss of their dearest children during this ruthless massacre. For this reason, I declare a National Day of Mourning on January 23, 2026 to be observed by all freedom loving Iranians throughout the world, and request that we all join in one minute of silence at 12:00 noon, local time, to honor our fallen children. Let us reflect on our country and make a solemn vow that we will not rest until our Aryan homeland regains its freedom. Light will prevail over darkness. Farah Pahlavi

She lives freely in the US while her father threatens the US and calls for violence against brave Iranians protesting the Islamist terror regime. Terrorists from hostile foreign dictatorships and their families should not be welcome in the US.

⚡BREAKING: The US is sanctioning senior Islamic Republic terrorists responsible for the violent suppression of anti-regime protests, including Ali Larijani, the Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security. The US is also sanctioning Iranian shadow banking networks. Treasury Secretary @SecScottBessent: “The United States stands firmly behind the Iranian people in their call for freedom and justice. At the direction of President Trump, the Treasury Department is sanctioning key Iranian leaders involved in the brutal crackdown against the Iranian people. To all of our friends around the world, Under the yoke of the Islamic Republic, Iran is identified in your minds with terrorism, extremism, and poverty. The real Iran is a different Iran. A beautiful, peace-loving, and flourishing Iran. It is the Iran that existed before the Islamic Republic, and it is the Iran that will rise again from its ashes the day the Islamic Republic falls. So let me be clear about how a free Iran will act toward its neighbors and the world, after the fall of this regime. In security and foreign policy, Iran’s nuclear military program will end. Support for terrorist groups will cease immediately. A free Iran will work with regional and global partners to confront terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, and extremist Islamism. Iran will act as a friend and a stabilizing force in the region. And it will be a responsible partner in global security. In diplomacy, relations with the United States will be normalized and our friendship with America and her people will be restored. The State of Israel will be recognized immediately. We will pursue the expansion of the Abraham Accords into the Cyrus accords bringing together a free Iran, Israel, and the Arab world. A new chapter will begin, grounded in mutual recognition, sovereignty, and national interest. In energy, Iran holds some of the largest oil and gas reserves in the world. A free Iran will become a reliable energy supplier to the free world. Policy-making will be transparent. Iran’s actions will be responsible. Prices will be predictable. In transparency and governance, Iran will adopt and enforce international standards. Money laundering will be confronted. Organized corruption will be dismantled. Public institutions will answer to the people. In the economy, Iran is one of the world’s last great untapped markets. Our population is educated, modern, with a diaspora that connects it to the four corners of the world. A democratic Iran will open its economy to trade, investment, and innovation. And Iran will seek to invest in the world. Opportunity will replace isolation. This is not an abstract vision. It is a practical one. Grounded in national interest, stability, and cooperation. To achieve this, now is the time to stand with the Iranian people. The fall of the Islamic Republic and the establishment of a secular, democratic government in Iran will not only restore dignity to my people, it will benefit the region and the world. A free Iran will be a force for peace. For prosperity. And for partnership.

The name "Iran" is the correct name. Iran is the country, Persia was the empire that encompassed the area from Judea out towards modern day India. The ethnicity of the people in Iran is largely Persian, while they are citizens of the nation of Iran. Iran and Persia aren't the problem, the problem is the islamic regime that's currently occupying the land. That's what us Iranians are working to remove. Make Iran Great Again.

The Western liberal media is ignoring the Iranian uprising because explaining it would force an admission it is desperate to avoid: the Iranian people are rebelling against Islam itself, and that fact shatters the moral framework through which these institutions understand the world. Ideally, to cover an uprising is not just to show crowds and slogans. It requires answering a basic question: why are people risking death? In Iran, the answer is simple and unavoidable. The people are rising up because the Islamic Republic of Iran has spent decades suffocating every aspect of life—speech, work, family, art, women, and economic survival—under a clerical system that treats liberty as a crime. There is no way to tell that story without confronting the nature of the regime. Western media refuses to do so because it has fundamentally misunderstood Islam. Or worse, it has chosen not to understand it. Islam, in Western progressive discourse, has been racialized. It is treated not as a belief system or a political ideology, but as a stand-in for race or ethnicity. Criticizing Islam is framed as an attack on “brown people,” Arabs, or “the Middle East,” as if Islam were a skin color rather than a doctrine. This confusion is rooted in historical illiteracy. Western liberal media routinely collapses entire civilizations into a single stereotype: “all Middle Easterners are Arabs,” “all Arabs are Muslim,” and “all Muslims are a monolithic, oppressed identity group by white European colonizers.” Iranians disappear entirely in this framework. Their language, history, and culture—Persian, not Arab; ancient, not colonial; distinct, not interchangeable—are erased. By treating Islam as a racial identity rather than an ideology, Western media strips millions of people of their ability to reject it. Iranian protesters become unintelligible. Their rebellion cannot be processed without breaking the rule that Islam must not be criticized. So instead of listening to Iranians, the media speaks over them—or ignores them entirely. There is another reason the Iranian uprising is so threatening to Western media is economic issues. As you know, Iran is not only a religious dictatorship. It is a centrally controlled, state-dominated economy where markets are strangled, private enterprise is criminalized or co-opted, and economic survival depends on proximity to political power. Decades of price controls, subsidies, nationalization, and bureaucratic micromanagement have obliterated the middle class and entrenched corruption as the only functional system. The result is not equality or justice. It is poverty, stagnation, and dependence on government’s dark void of empty promises. Covering Iran honestly would require acknowledging that these policies are harmful. They have been tried. They have failed. Catastrophically. This is deeply inconvenient for Western media institutions that routinely promote expansive state control, centralized economic planning, and technocratic governance as morally enlightened alternatives to liberal capitalism. Iran demonstrates where such systems lead when insulated from accountability and enforced by ideology. It shows that when the state controls livelihoods, non-conformity becomes existentially dangerous. That lesson cannot be acknowledged without undermining the moral authority of those who advocate similar ideas in softer language. Western liberal media prefers not to hear this. Acknowledging it would require abandoning the lazy moral categories that dominate modern discourse: oppressor and oppressed, colonizer and colonized, white and non-white. Iranian protesters do not fit. They show that authoritarianism is not a Western invention imposed from outside, but something many societies are actively trying to escape. That is what terrifies Western liberal media. And that is why the Iranian people are being ignored. So the silence continues.
Tahmineh Dehbozorgi@DeTahmineh

The Iranian people are waging one of the most courageous anti-tyranny movements of our time against the Islamic Republic. The media’s silence is disgraceful. This regime will fall—and history will remember who stood for liberty and who looked away. x.com/Negaarsh/statu…
