ICYMI, a recent episode of the @SpaceNews_Inc Space Minds podcast featured Interlune CEO Rob Meyerson and friends on a panel, moderated by @jeff_foust, at #AIAAAscendxTexas, on the state of Texas as a strategic space hub. Fellow panelists from @FireflySpace, @VenusAerospace, @Int_Machines, and Barrios Technology shared insights on how companies can partner with organizations like the @TXSpaceComm to continue to build the ecosystem in Texas, and around the @NASA_Johnson. Talk about good government at work: The recent advancement of the NASA Reauthorization Act of 2026 by the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation is one more step toward a secure and prosperous future. Commitment to a Moon Base and a resource extraction mission is a clear signal of the U.S.'s commitment to the Moon and a sustained presence beyond Earth. We’re proud of and grateful for the bipartisan leadership of @SenTedBuddNC, @SenLummis, Chairman @SenTedCruz, and our very own @SenatorCantwell, who are showing the world what America can do.

Aerospace is a $71B industry in Washington state, supporting 250,000+ jobs. The bipartisan NASA Reauthorization Act invests in our Moon return, commercial space stations & next-gen aircraft technology, so the U.S. leads in space AND innovation. commerce.senate.gov/2026/3/commerc…

The NASA Reauth Act is a green light for US leadership in space. It establishes a permanent Moon base program, extends the ISS to ensure a smooth transition to commercial stations & authorizes funding that far exceeds the President's Bdgt Request b/c Congress rejected those cuts.

Astrolab and @InterluneSpace have made an exciting announcement that we are working together to integrate lunar excavation technology onto our FLEX rover! This collaboration brings together Interlune’s resource harvesting expertise with FLEX’s adaptive mobility to advance commercial infrastructure on the Moon. From helium-3 extraction to road and berm construction for Moon base site preparation. Prototype testing will take place in Houston, where both companies have R&D facilities. Astrolab was the first company to lease testing space at the Texas A&M University Space Institute, currently under construction at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. This builds on our ongoing partnership, as Interlune previously announced plans to fly a multispectral camera on our FLIP mission to estimate helium-3 concentrations in lunar regolith.

Thanks to @SciGuySpace of @arstechnica and @endeffector, CEO of @Astrolab_Space, for catching up in Houston last week. 🇨🇱🚀 Jaret and Interlune CEO Rob Meyerson gave Eric the latest on their ongoing partnership to develop a fleet of vehicles for harvesting and construction. ⚙️ We love reading Eric’s work regardless of the topic, but it’s especially great when it’s about us. Some partnerships exist only in slide decks. This one actually has legs (and wheels). Today, we announced the latest in our ongoing, and very IRL, work with @Astrolab_Space and @Vermeer. We are integrating Interlune excavation tools onto the Astrolab Flexible Logistics and Exploration Vehicle (FLEX) and getting ready for testing in Houston. Shout out to the @TXSpaceComm for their support of the Interlune Research Lab (IRL). 🍿This one’s a throwback, but worth resurfacing. Back in 2023, NASA interviewed Apollo 17 astronaut and our co-founder, Harrison Schmitt, in this Moon 101 conversation…and it’s one of our favorite interviews. That’s because Harrison keeps it real—no hype, just some welcome nostalgia (like the average age of a NASA employee during the Apollo program). While the conversation on helium-3 has progressed, the interview quietly, eloquently explains why the Moon matters and what Apollo really taught us. If you’ve got 20 minutes, it’s worth a watch: plus.nasa.gov/video/moon-101… #ArtemisProgram #LunarScience #Apollo17 #Helium3

Who run the world? Girls! It’s a great day when we can quote Beyonce on social. Yes, today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science…but honestly, *every day* is Women in Science Day at Interlune because about half (48%) of our technical team are women! That’s compared to about 20% in a study from World Metrics (worldmetrics.org/diversity-equi…). That’s right. About half of the people in the world are women, and about half of our team is women. Huh. On that note, we want to thank the women of Interlune and the entire community of women pushing boundaries in space and advancing the industry. Science is better, space is better, and our future on the Moon (and beyond) is better when women play an equal role in shaping it. 🚀✨ If you’re interested in helping to build the in-space economy, check out our Careers page here: interlune.space/careers We have openings in both Houston and Seattle.

This morning, we announced details about a NASA Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase I contract to advance our expertise in high-volume, continuous excavation to support lunar resource extraction and Artemis Moon Base construction. Colorado School of Mines will help us dig into ways to reduce tractive force, power consumption, and dust compared to traditional trench-digging techniques. Nothing short of groundbreaking. ;) Details are here. interlune.space/press-release/… #Artemis #STTR #SBIRSTTR #SmallBusiness #LunarResources #InSpaceEconomy

Got plans on February 2? Cancel them and join Interluners and the rest of the world to watch the live stream of the Artemis II “wet” dress rehearsal. @NASA will fully fuel the 322-foot Space Launch System (SLS) and run the launch sequence to just before liftoff. This is one of the final steps before astronauts go to the Moon for the first time in 50 years! Watch via @NASASpaceflight: youtube.com/watch?v=kjDre8… #ArtemisII #NASA #Artemis #LunarEconomy

@NASAAdmin laser focus on a long-term, sustainable presence on the Moon is music to our ears. 🎶 We are feeling the energy and momentum around lunar exploration throughout the industry and at all levels. Let’s get to work. 💪 @NASA @NASAArtemis #ArtemisII #LunarEconomy #InSpaceEconomy #Helium3

Artemis II is just the beginning. Over time, much will change as we learn, evolve our architecture, increase flight rate, and build an enduring presence on the Moon. The journey will have our children watching Artemis 100 until mankind plants the American flag on Mars. 🇺🇸
