What a momentous occasion! Just moments ago, the team was gathered at Seattle HQ to celebrate the announcement of Interlune as part of the @Astrolab_Space team for the @NASA Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV). Dubbed CLV-1, the Astrolab rover will provide mobility services for the Artemis program. We’re proud to be a member of the team, along with @Axiom_Space, @OdysseySpaceRes, and @Venturi, that will deliver the LTV to NASA’s Moon Base by 2028. The task order is valued at approximately $219 million, and Interlune will work with Astrolab on many aspects of the rover development, involving the science of survival in the lunar environment. The Interlune Research Lab (IRL) in Houston will develop and test regolith simulants specifically for CLV-1. Congratulations to the entire Astrolab team and the rest of the awardees today! Launching aboard our FLIP rover, @interlunespace’s multispectral camera will be used to estimate helium-3 quantities and concentrations in lunar regolith. Developed in partnership with NASA, the camera will produce images that will be used to detect titanium.

Well that was fast. ⏳Ten years ago, quantum computing was experimental. It lived in labs. Hardware was fragile. Funding was focused on research. ⌛Today, hundreds of quantum processors are being deployed globally, from national labs to startups and major tech companies. Governments are standing up billion-dollar quantum programs across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. 📈In less than 10 years, the world went from “can we?” to “how fast?” Now, it’s estimated to grow into a market worth roughly tens of billions of dollars per year. But scaling quantum requires a scalable and reliable supply chain. Securing helium-3, a rare isotope used in supercomputing cooling infrastructure, is one of the critical materials needed for that supply chain. It’s found in limited quantities on Earth, but abundant on the Moon. At Interlune, we’re building technology to separate helium-3 from existing helium supplies on Earth now, while developing systems to harvest it from lunar soil to support the long-term scalability of the quantum industry. These efforts will help unlock the quantum industry—and we’re thrilled to be working in partnership with: - @usairforce: interlune.space/press-release/… - @BlueFors_Ltd: interlune.space/press-release/… - @MaybellQuantum: interlune.space/press-release/… #Quantum #QuantumComputing #Helium3 #Supercomputing

We’ve come so far since founding Interlune; it’s great to pause for a moment and contemplate where it all started: with a problem to solve. How do you build a lunar economy and eventually an in-space economy? Rob Meyerson was honored to sit down with the venerable @jacobgoldstein for an episode of "What’s Your Problem?" The podcast about exploring solutions to the most pressing problems of our time. In this episode, Rob discusses why reusable rockets are only the first step toward lower-cost space missions; how Interlune’s space resources vision can unlock quantum computing, fusion, and the in-space economy; and what it was like to work for Jeff Bezos at @blueorigin. If you haven’t yet discovered What’s Your Problem?, it’s produced by @pushkinpods, founded by Jacob Weisberg and Malcom Gladwell, and distributed by @iHeartMedia. Last week, CEO Rob Meyerson sat down with Pillsbury Winthrop’s @SaharHafeez27 to talk about the importance of helium-3 as a natural resource. Attendees noted how closely our plan to harvest natural resources from space mirrors the challenges we’re seeing across supply chains here on Earth. We agree! Thank you, SAFE, for putting on a great conference, and thank you, Sahar, for the great conversation! Watch the full discussion here: youtube.com/watch?v=62PTvf…

As longtime fans of Mythbusters, it was so much fun to have Rob Meyerson sit down with @KariByron and @ToryBelleci on their newest @mythfitspodcast! Rob talked about all things helium-3, Space Prom, extraterrestrial life, and the future plans for the moon as NASA and the space industry prepare for a $30 billion Moon Base. The Mythfits episode is out NOW! Watch/listen here: youtube.com/watch?v=r8cv0F…

May the 4th be with you! Happy May Star Wars Day to the rebels, the dreamers, and nerf herders (IYKYK). While our first stop is just 238,855 miles away, today is about celebrating the stories that made us look up in the first place. All hail George Lucas for giving us a galaxy to aim for and the imagination to get there. #StarWarsDay #MaytheFourth

Rob Meyerson spoke with @jeff_foust of @SpaceNews_Inc about Interlune’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract with NASA. The payload for our Prospect Moon mission will be ready for integration onto a lunar lander in 2027, and the potential to be part of a lander mission for the newly announced Moon base. This mission will demonstrate the tangible, undisputed value of helium-3 and other volatile gases from the solar wind, which are present in quantities and forms that Interlune will harvest for commercial use. Today, we’re announcing the award of our $6.9 million contract with NASA for lunar resource development. The Prospect Moon payload will be ready for lander integration in Fall of 2027. Chief Scientist Dr. Elizabeth Frank is quoted in the announcement - “For the first time ever, we will measure volatile gases by heating lunar regolith while on the Moon, dramatically advancing the scientific community’s understanding of its properties. The data we collect will also tell us how much power is needed to extract resources like helium-3.” Very excited to continue our long-term relationship with NASA, hitting milestone after milestone toward a sustained presence on the Moon. Vice president of engineering Rob Acree was in full force at the 2026 Lunar Surface Innovation Consortium (LSIC) Spring Meeting today, where he delivered a poster presentation highlighting Interlune’s work with @NASA’s #SpaceTechnologyMissionDirectorate. Rob also spoke on a panel called Lunar Exploration Through Infrastructure, alongside friends from @NASA, @Astrolab_Space, and @leidos. The name says “surface,” but the LSIC is anything but shallow. Both the presentation and the panel point to NASA’s integral role in commercial technology development, missions, and how public-private collaboration is creating a new level of opportunity for the U.S. that we’ve never seen before. If you want to go even deeper, read the official abstract by Rob and chief technology officer Gary Lai posted on our blog here: interlune.space/blog/nasa-and-…
