@cipherpay_app @LambofCrypto @FlexaHQ Flexa DOES allow the merchant to receive payment in ZEC. From their website's payment page, "Receive payouts in any mix of USD, CAD, EUR, and digital assets". The customer can pay using Doge and the merchant can choose to receive the payment in ZEC (or ETH, USD, BTC, LTC, etc)

@LambofCrypto @FlexaHQ Flexa makes crypto invisible to the merchant, they get fiat. CipherPay makes crypto accessible to the merchant, they get ZEC. These serve completely different philosophies and markets.

Two reasons BTC is a weak medium of exchange: - slow and expensive transaction - not private I don’t spend my BTC because I don’t want to dox myself for a coffee. I don’t mind spending little ZEC for coffee because it’s private. I prefer it over USDC *because* it’s private!

@brandonkumar The new @FlexaHQ and @useburner terminal is pretty awesome. Flexa also provides a few other ways to accept and get paid in 99+ other digital assets (including stables). As you're now hearing, it's been solved... Here's one of the most recent x.com/FlexaHQ/status…

1. You tap card at the merchant (Starbucks) 2. Merchant’s terminal sends the transaction to its acquirer (Stripe) 3. Acquirer passes the authorization request into the card network (Visa) 4. The card network routes the transaction to the issuing bank (Pathward) 5. The issuing bank via the issuer processor (Marqeta), checks credit line, fraud rules, card status, and approves/declines 6. After the transaction settles, the issuer processor (Marqeta) sends a transaction data feed to the crypto company (Coinbase) 7. The crypto company (Coinbase) calculates rewards and credits fractional crypto into your exchange account 8. Each month, the issuing bank (Pathward) generates a statement for the cardholder which they then pay (as with any other cc) The irony is incredible. There are 5 different companies involved in the transaction, but interchange only flows to the issuing bank, which then rev shares with the crypto company and the processor. The acquirer and network take separate fees, and together all of this totals ~2.5% paid by the merchant.
