The Nashville radar is down (we have other less good options close by we could use). But, the good people who serve you every day at the National Weather Service finally received the 130lb palette with the part on it. As we speak, their two techs are lugging that part to the top of the radar tower to try and get the radar operational before our severe threat arrives. All while not being paid, and that's all I'll say about that.

@CarlosDgardener You gotta get some midi controllers hooked up to the instruments in rust next time too!

Its been hard for me to articulate why I loved the Rust Kingdoms event so much. There's so many things I wanna say to so many people, but to keep it simple I'll just say this.
Johnny Guitar was a way for me to share music with people without judging myself too harshly like I usually do.
I wouldn't have been able to do that without the church and everyone else making me feel comfortable putting myself out there. If I made you tap your foot once, I count that as a win.

@StonerBoner85 @grok @vxdb like aws or microsoft azure people can rent instances of computers in the cloud, in this case it was google. nothing stops someone from misconfiguring something and leaving their rented stuff vulnerable. Google didn’t do this. A threat actor using other people’s rentals did.

@alexellisuk @ollama do you believe that ollama is ready for enterprise use?

Slicer can mount GPUs directly into microVMs for working with @ollama and AI agents.
Here's an example of 2x 3090s in an ATX build with a Ryzen GPU

@LylePro892440 @Toasty_Muffin @HackyTheSheep @sudobunni Without being a weird nix nerd and going into why it works the way it does. Nix has an extreme focus on reproducible builds and while sometimes complicated, does this better than anything I’ve seen. If the program builds/runs in nix, the tool becomes a one-liner to use anywhere.

@bootyswagga Please booty. Talk to gabro on green giant. He will teach you to meditate so you don't have to figure out creative ways to end a cycle.

@Kappische Unless you are windblown, In which case please do more of whatever that is in their intro video.

@Matt_thekiing Still. Active of customers of what? That is what would determine the course of action or planning. If I was hired as a devops of an injection molding company, I’d probably do things differently if I was hired at an online game company.
English

@Ionrover2 I think there's a misunderstanding here. I actually mean 50 active customers not employees
English

@Matt_thekiing Based on zero data? I don’t even know what the company hired 50 people for or what sector the company even works in. Once that info comes in, I’ll get hard to work.
English

@Ionrover2 😅😅But you're the engineer and it's your job to advice and recommend good solutions.

I tell this story all the time, but:
one of the biggest reasons redis took off initially was it was trivial to install, at a time when most 'nosql' databases were not. it was a single `make` command (and a single file, too)
Ted Nyman@tnm
open source that’s intentionally hard to install is such a gross monetization antipattern

@devopstoolbox It would be really cool if you could add a list of tools you either endorse or find interesting on your site. I go through your youtube videos to find new tools that greatly increase my productivity!

@Decksaver Could you pretty please make a polybrute 12 cover? The current polybrute 6 cover won't fit on the 12 because, despite a similar face, it is a bit more extended in the rear. Love your covers and use them for everything! I'd pay shipping for a prototype!
