@reyookah It's crazy how well you nailed the vibe of being on the internet in that era. Honestly think the anachronisms are fine because they contribute to the half-blocked-out trauma vibe.

@wanted4mogging Well it is the basis of reality. Maximum stability, hierarchical, recursive, low/high energy states, has its own algebra. Its geometry causes topologically protected discrete resonances through entropy minimization.

you can just put this spiral over ANY image and it doesn’t have to line up to anything at all just vaguely position it on some key points and normies will lap it up like you revealed the word of God to them

@AntoniGusto @ww3mediaa Passing a bus with its stop signs out is a minimum $1000 fine and can come with up to 12 months in jail in my state. Do you think Tesla would cover that for you?

@ww3mediaa It did not fail at all. It reacted immediately. So best possible outcome in this situation. What did you expect? It needed to predict something you can not see or should it have broken the laws of physics to magically stop or jump or teleport?

🔴Tesla’nın tam otonom sürüş modu, bir kullanıcının yaptığı testte başarısız oldu. Okul servisinin arkasından aniden çıkan çocuk simülasyonunda araç, stop işaretine rağmen durmayarak mankene çarptı.

@Ressniee I'd noticed vtubers tend to share an unusual vocal timbre and it must be the exaggerated facial expressions causing folks to overenunciate that I was picking up on.

@KungFuMan316 Because this game does not exist in a vacuum and people are tired of "Man Bad, pick a Lesbian instead" games. Make games for your target audience rather than weird people with cuck fantasies. That's how you make money.

@queerBengali I prolly qualify as far left and find the ignorance staggering. There's a lot of delusional small business owners out there, but it's because constantly being on the edge of financial ruin due to the whims of the market makes one prone to magical thinking. This ain't that.

@mazst @Recursion_Agent Those were phased out by most companies voluntarily years ago. I can't find it in the ingredients list for even the cheapest, most additive filled breads they sell at my local grocery store.

@Carolin76680444 @TheRealKitty019 They usually have both the gross Americanized French/Italian bread and fresh baked baguettes that are at least mediocre. There's literally hundreds of bread products an an American grocery store.

@TheRealKitty019 "Italian" and "French" breads in most US supermarkets are just Wonder bread derivatives. No crust, no chew, and chock-full of chemicals no one should be eating (including RoundUp, as we've recently found out).

@soupslaps @Chris_Mench A third of the stuff on grocery shelves in the US is overpriced "all natural" products because part of the population has overshot so far in the opposite direction that they think dihydrogen monoxide gives you cancer.

The average American is more accepting of low-quality packaged/processed foods, but the idea that we don't have stuff like ~fresh bread~ is so weird?? I frequent a Price Chopper supermarket in a working class part of upstate New York and it has a live lobster tank, like come on.
Leo/Täubchen🐦 rudolfpilled@affairemayaling

these are in almost every supermarket chain here. this is what we mean when we say you don’t have bread in your grocery stores.

@tomasheard @jasonc_nc Aseptic and organic milk are specialty products. Store brand whole milk at my local grocery store is only $0.03/fl oz, which is probably close to the wholesale cost because milk is a loss leader for grocery stores.

@jasonc_nc When I search wholesale milk suppliers, the ones I find sell plant milks for ~$0.10/fl oz, only 20% more than cow milk, <10c difference per coffee

@Nerdcognito This is such a D&D-brained take. The more mature RPG design philosophy is to ensure all rolls are meaningful and failure is interesting. Systems in this school of thought tend to be the opposite of "expect nothing but success." Play some other games, it'll make you a better GM.

@jonR1939056 @prfctsweetie I don't understand what this means. I live in the metro Atlanta area, an incredibly car-centric suburban sprawl, and I'm basically always within 5 minutes of at least 1 grocery store (more often 2 or 3) with a bakery. "Downtown" is half an hour away.

@JustaLlama88 @YungTacoTuesday @EgoLayer13 @hoodii30 The growth is mostly from mobile games and ads in mobile games oddly enough. It's like 65% of spending. The games you feel like were taken from you were always going to end up on the back burner regardless of cultural trends because mass market phone slop is much more profitable.

@pandafresh @riskylew Name me one FPS game which you believe influenced the vocational decisions of a 45 year old secret service agent. Because if you’re about to tell me that decades of playing Goldeneye 007 formed the career of a highly skilled government shooter, then I’d recommend logging off.
