On Monday, a DHS employee, Lauren Bullis, was brutally shot and stabbed to death by Olaolukitan Adon Abel, a 26-year-old, born in the United Kingdom, who was naturalized by the Biden Administration in 2022. Since President Trump took office, @USCIS has implemented measures to ensure individuals with criminal histories and who otherwise lack good moral character do not attain citizenship. He possesses a prior criminal record that includes convictions for sexual battery, battery against a police officer, obstruction, and assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism and now stands accused of murdering @DHSgov employee Lauren Bullis by shooting and stabbing her while she walked her dog. He has also been arrested for the murder of an unidentified woman whom he reportedly shot outside a Checkers, before randomly shooting a homeless man multiple times outside a Kroger in Brookhaven. These acts of pure evil have devastated our Department and my prayers are with the families of the victims.

H Res 965 is backdoor amnesty for hundreds of thousands of Haitians who came into our country illegally.
It is an abject disgrace and a shameful betrayal of everything Republicans ran on in 2024. All conservatives should vehemently rejected it.
Unfortunately, the bill was just discharged on the House floor with 219 votes. We will vote on final passage of the bill tomorrow.

The DIGNIDAD Act isn’t just an amnesty bill. It’s far worse: it’s a mass migration bill.
It would give immediate amnesty to ~12 million illegal aliens, allow previously deported illegals to come back into the country, and would hamstring the President’s current deportation plan.
All while massively increasing legal immigration and work visa programs.
It’s terrible for workers, who will lose more jobs and whose wages will be further suppressed by the flood of cheap labor.
It’s terrible for families, whose neighborhoods will be further transformed by a massive influx of foreigners.
It’s terrible for children whose schools are already overrun by drugs and foreigners speaking foreign languages - thanks to mass migration.
It makes our communities less safe and our social services less viable.
Mass migration is tearing our country apart. The DIGNIDAD Act would exacerbate almost every single social problem in America, and would be an unforgivable betrayal of our voters.
Republicans must vehemently reject it.

The United States is so toxic on the world stage right now that it can’t fill hotels or sell World Cup tickets.
Let that land.
FIFA projected $30.5 billion in economic impact from millions of international visitors.
That demand never showed up.
Hotels in Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia and San Francisco have slashed match-day rates by a third from their peak.
FIFA has cancelled tens of thousands of reserved rooms across all 16 host cities.
Some hotels report cancellation rates above 95%.
The reasons aren’t hard to find. Anti-American sentiment. Fear of border crossings. The Iran war driving up oil prices and airfares. And tickets priced into the stratosphere, with finals seats hitting $10,990 a pop.
Industry executives are now openly blaming the Trump administration for the shortfall.
Tourism economists say the Iran war made an already bad sentiment problem worse.
Empty stadiums are now a real possibility.
It happened at the Club World Cup last summer.
It could happen again, on American soil, at the biggest sporting event on the planet.
The White House says this will be “the greatest World Cup ever.”
The market disagrees.
