@heaaaps It's basically just a branded PC at this point so may as well just get a PC instead. No need to wait and you can get any disc drive you want.

And not a disc drive in sight

New info on the next-gen Xbox rumored to be $1000-1500 coming in 2027 - High end & expensive - No paywalled multiplayer - Will offer a console UI but is a full Windows device. - Will offer Steam & access to all Steam games - Backwards compatible with all Xbox games
English

You now this was actually one of the things I found most interesting about the Kirby direct. The older I get the more I find games with small text unappealing!

Accessibility confirmed in Kirby Air Riders! - An actual accessibility menu (that's rare for Nintendo) - Screen Shake Intensity Presets - Text Size - Remap controls (including remapping to one handed) - HUD size, opacity, outlines - Color Filters - FOV I'm pretty impressed!

@tldparchives Frankly robbed of the number 1 by the weighting towards streaming, which is very easy for large artists to manipulate.

My latest YouTube video is up and this week I finally finish my Sega Mark III collection, just in time to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the console's release.
I hope you enjoy it.

The newest homebrew from @badcomputer0 for the Sega Master System will be absolutely free to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Sega Mark III's release in Japan.
I can tell you right now, Astro Climber is fantastic and will be available 20th October 💯

@TheRetroMartin This is genuinely one of the most "silly" fun games I've ever played. The music really reflects that too.
English

I bought Blast Corps on #N64 a few years ago and never got round to playing it. I've had a spare few mins so threw it on via NSO and holy crud is this great fun 😂 I love how the music on this race is a remix of the #DonkeyKong Land boss theme too! (Graeme Norgate is a legend)

A rambling look at this year's Smyths Holiday catalog. I used to love looking through the various Argos/Game catalogs as a kid and I guess this is as good as it gets these days.

@ToejamGreg Wow Starflight was great. By any chance did you work on the Mega Drive version?
English

@The_Top_Loader Really shows how central and consistent the 8 bit line was to Sega's history. From the SG-1000 to the late TecToy releases it basically ran for 20 years in some form. The early 90's were probably the peak though.
English

@8BitBoyUK Might not be up to the incredible standards of 3 or as good as the Mega Drive version, but a fun 8 Bit effort all the same.
English

The Wonder Boy everyone forgets on Sega Master System, Wonder Boy in Monster World.
Have you tried this one?

@IrishNerdLife @ichigobankai_ @GuyFawkesRetro Same. I’m tempted with the GG games but too pricey right now
English

Hi my dear Twitter/X comrades! Last day (just hours left!) to preorder #Sega #MasterSystem and #GameGear games from my #2minds shop!

@Movie_Micky9 @ichigobankai_ @GuyFawkesRetro I do own a couple of these already and I am tempted, but the timing is really bad 😔
English

@8BitBoyUK That's a fairly insane collection. I can't imagine going for a set that large.
English

@TheRetroMartin I actually thought the big dungeons were incredibly forgettable in BotW. Some of the shrines were interested, but suffered from repeated use of theme and content.
English

@IrishNerdLife Agreed. The big dungeons were fun in BOTW but every other little dungeon (aka the shrines) got boring fast as it all looked the same. Echoes is tighter, theres more things per few seconds walking & it even has a fun new mechanic in the echoes to allow for myriad puzzle solutions
English

Currently continuing with #LegendOfZelda Echoes of Wisdom and despite how...muckable it is with solving puzzles myriad ways depending on what stuff you've got (some bosses are a joke with some echoes) this is infinitely more fun to me than big boring open world Breath of the Wild
