Stopped by @IronrootWhiskey on the way to Oklahoma for turkey day, and I highly recommend a visit. Great people making an excellent product. Enjoying an Old Fashioned with Ironroot Promethean Bourbon. Absolutely delicious!

We were crushed to hear about the tragic passing of our friend and whiskey writer extraordinaire Dom Roskrow. We were blessed that his love for whisky and the Cowboys brought him to our door. We’ll never forget the family meals we shared and the trips to the pubs in London.

@FredMinnick This one hits hard - he was such a huge supporter of smaller distilleries around the world and a kind soul. We will definitely miss him.

Saddened to learn about the passing of whisky writer Dominic Roskrow, whose whisky books educated thousands on good drams. He helped build the profession I enjoy today and never stopped educating people. Dominic was an inspiring leader in whisky writing. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Still south of the Red, still in Texas, but a different river: The Brazos. So we did two. This big beaut again from @IronrootWhiskey Icarus coming in at 58.3 abv, aged in port and peated single malt barrels, aged 40 mid, a whiskey made for me. @1883Official #1883
