Constitutionally, Congress approved NATO membership, and only Congress can withdraw the US from NATO. It's a treaty, and needs congressional approval. However, as Commander in Chief, the President can withdraw all US troops from Europe, and no judge can stop him, and the alloted money must follow the American troops.

Europe, Canada, and Australia seem to be making the calculated bet the next century will be dominated by China, and the smart move is to abandon America for China. China's growth is slowing. I think the Europeans are buying into China at the top of the market.

Joined in time to do war stuff, got out before the best SecWar of all time lets me carry my own gun like an adult. Predictions:
1. every request is denied in writing.
2. denials signed will be signed by the CO on a photocopy that has a mass stockpile which takes up an entire warehouse.
3. Those who submit requests will be ordered to do it in person, and sign the denial before they leave the company office.
You can currently have your own gun as a service member, but you have to keep it in the armory, sign it out, only use it for the range, put it back as soon as you’re done, etc…so it’s basically like you don’t have one.

America blew up the Nordstream pipeline, and now has closed the Strait of Hormuz. Hard not to see this as a deliberate strategy of denying energy to Europe, whilst America can produce its own. Callous.
