Science fiction nerds are gonna hate me for saying this but the Great Filter is that interstellar travel is probably more or less impossible and there is no reason to come up with any other explanation for that.

They make the same money whether you eat there or not. In Europe, they act like the customer is an inconvenience.

Tipping culture in America and the private equity-style penny pinching of trying to squeeze every last dollar out of the consumer needs to be stopped.

@financedystop Restaurants typically operate on less than 5% margin. For them to pay the servers even $1 more per hour, they will have to raise their prices. They are choosing to itemize that as a service charge. It sounds like you would rather pay $26 for a burger.

You play as brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee, punching, kicking, and brawling through city slums, factories, and hideouts to rescue Billy's girlfriend Marian from the Black Warriors gang. 80s games didn't have the deepest and most complex of stories but let's be honest, who cared? To this day, one of the best beat 'em ups in co-op mode. The big character sprites, badass soundtrack, and the ability to pick up dropped weapons like baseball bats, whips, and knives made it an excellent game.
