Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will be performed at 9 PM and 11 PM once the parade debuts on July 20 at Magic Kingdom. View of the rare Fantasmic! fail from last night 12/26. The Mark Twain was completely missing, but also all the characters were missing too! The stage lighting indicated that the B-mode stage finale should've taken place instead, but something must've occurred to prevent that.

@GabbyHadley @WDWNT They do get fixed, but just break again right away. Last week they were working but then broke sometime over the weekend.

@WDWNT The AT-AT turrets haven’t moved in at least two years.

Rise of the Resistance is in terrible shape. B-mode Kylo, lights are broken on vehicles (you can see our R-5 isn’t lit), the AT-AT turrets didn’t move, and the Probe Droid didn’t either. This is in addition to a lot of damage in the queue.

@ItsGerarar @tasgvlogs @freshbaked @CritterClubHQ There are long stints of music without pyro that once had - noticeably the very end. It had been phased out over years not just because of Murphy, but go watch videos from 2016 and prior and it was a different show.

@ThemeParkLore @ethancelebrate They changed the spotlight towers finale choreography with 2.5. They used to spin in a 360° motion during the finale. But now they don't and it takes away a lot from the finale, especially when there's no pyro.

@ethancelebrate Maybe not, but I think part of the current show’s issue is that it’s just 100% of every effect at every second. The whipping fountains, the projection, the light… and as the video I retweeted shows, all of that still isn’t enough to make the finale feel like a finale. 😞

I experienced this last month. I am totally understanding that they’ve removed 80% of the show’s pyro for temporary safety reasons… But they need to fast track a fix, and until then, should absolutely NOT be selling dining packages. Maybe even needs a pre-show announcement.

what is up lately with fantasmic and the lack of pyro? everytime i see it, it has less and less fireworks

@ThemeParkLore The water barges had some random pyro misfires a couple weeks ago, like it going off during the princess segment. Ever since, they've been pulled from the show either for emergency repairs/refurbishment.

Okay so just confirming, a month after reopening Fantasmic has about 75% of its pyro missing, yes?

A rare Fantasmic! fail occurred at the 7/18 10:30pm show & was caught on video! Sorcerer Mickey was missing in the finale on top the mountain. The lift most likely malfunctioned during the show as the prepared B-mode would be Mickey on the bottom stage instead on the mountain.

@LeetMor @parkhopperzach Correct this was basically the original 1.0 B-mode before it was changed to a projection sequence in 2.0.
