I’m an Evangelical & lifelong Republican. I voted for Trump three times and still support him. I wrote hundreds of postcards to swing states for the election. I cheered on Election Day. And a year later I’m considering changing to Independent because I simply will not be associated with the racism that’s being winked at and mainstreamed on the right. The Republican Party does not want to lose people like me. It certainly doesn’t want to lose people like me in exchange for a bunch of shit posters who aren’t going to vote Republican anyway. I’m not alone. There are so many dispirited people like me. The Republican Party needs to wake up and find its voice and its courage.
