@lesley_peachey @GMB Judgement from someone fast tracked through, place yourself in their situation, hot, crowded noisy after a flight (possibly early morning/late night) so to then have to stand for up to 3 hours for something you may not have voted for is also pretty disgusting.

@GMB This has been happening since last October. Old news. We are disabled and have the travel assistance from home right to the taxi in Malaga and we get fast tracked through it all and dont queue. Watching the behaviour of people queing to get through is actually disgusting.

Good Morning Britain
From today, Brits going on holiday face changes at border controls and potentially long queues as the EU's new Entry/Exit System becomes fully operational.

@LJRyder16 @GMB I think whole towns with a charge to enter is really sad. Visitor tax isn’t usually about that. Its usually a small surcharge on overnight stays or coach parties, that way it doesn’t affect locals just visiting but makes money for infrastructure like toilets.

Good Morning Britain
A tourist tax on overnight stays in England would risk making holidays unaffordable for ordinary British families, according to the boss of Butlin's holiday camps. He's called a proposed levy of around £2 per head, per night potentially 'disastrous' for households.

@SandyofSuffolk It’s her money. We only learn by living and making mistakes. Your grandson is no longer with her so why are you so bothered what she will or won’t be able to afford in the future, to me, you sound bitter and jealous.

Right. Stepdaughter just told me the youngest grandson's girlfriend (20) who's been living at home for 2 years and working just 30 hours a week in M&S for 2 years has saved £15,000. She's not been paying her dad 'keep'. Sigh. Nice deposit for a flat you may think. But no. Going off travelling to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia and chucking her job in. 🙄 But the good news is....🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 youngest grandson has dumped her. 🤣

This is Walker Smith. After dedicating 17 years to Waitrose, he was recently dismissed. The reason? For attempting to stop a shoplifter nicking Easter eggs. Yes you read that right. He should be applauded, not sacked. Shameful @waitrose. Re-employ Walker Smith!

@sainsburys @Tesco why oh why is it that every single week I have to return the bananas in my online shop because they are just bashed and bruised. I hate being reliant on you. Sort it out, it must cost you so much in waste

£26436.80 is the new min wage annual salary (40 hrs p/wk). And as the min wage rises, regular salaries don't. So many people will begin to ask themselves 'why am I working this highly stressful job that needed qualifications and a tonne of bullshit paperwork and police checks just to earn 5k more a year than I would stacking shelves at Lidl?'

@ick_real Rephrased: my co-worker had a car and lives near my house. They drive to work and pass where I live every day. I’m so thankful to them for collecting me on their journey that I send them a little money for fuel now and again, to show my gratitude. YOU GOD DAMN ARSEWIPE

If a coworker has a car and lives near my house, and drives me to work every day, am I obligated to chip in for gas?

@PoliticalStacy Unfortunately due to racism and social issues, Black rage can come out against the wrong target. Black people, especially men, need to understand who the real enemy is and how to direct their rage at the problem, not family or brothers.

@marksandspencer @Keynesianism Why only available to international. Offer it to your main customer base before giving it it people living abroad. Why are we British missing out on everything and perks are just being given to people abroad? You're a UK 🇬🇧 business are you not?

You know what really bugs me these days? We can't own anything. Everything is a subscription service, like literally everything. You can't buy Microsoft Office, you have to purchase a subscription for a year. You literally have to pay for everything FOREVER. Isn't anyone else bothered by this?

@KieranMaguire Hi, we haven’t increased the price of our bananas. Customers have told us that they want quality, value, convenience and transparent pricing. By moving to a clear, fixed price for individual bananas - without increasing the price - customers know what they are paying for. - Abbi

Sign of inflation being insidiously introduced as Marks and Spencer move from selling bananas by weight, which was costing me 13-14p each, to individual bananas, 18p each, so a 28-38% increase sneaked in. Same with onions. What next, Cadbury’s mini egg by the egg?

A 14-year-old girl was brutally assaulted outside a Zara store in Bristol, reportedly by a group of youths who knocked her to the ground and repeatedly kicked her in the head. According to witnesses, the girl had just asked Zara security for help — only to be removed from the premises instead. Moments later, the attack unfolded outside the store. If these reports are accurate, the footage is sickening. A child begging for help. Security showing her the door. Violence following within minutes. One question now hangs over @ZARA : When a frightened 14-year-old asks your staff for protection — is the correct response really to escort her out into the street? Because if that is what happened here, this is not merely a criminal assault. It is a catastrophic failure of basic duty of care.

@Tallulah_66_XX @vitt2tsnoc @oldscousema I know (hope) you’re not insinuating the woman is to blame by not using a lock? Because that’s how it comes across. Women are not to blame, the door is closed, WE should be safe.

@vitt2tsnoc @oldscousema I thought the same thing when I watched the report. I also thought ‘Why didn’t she use the swing bar lock?’ I clearly don’t trust hotel staff either because when I’m in a hotel room, the swing bar lock is engaged!

After a woman was raped in her hotel room… Travelodge now says staff must get explicit consent before giving someone a key to a guest’s room. I genuinely cannot get over the fact that this apparently needed to be written down as a NEW RULE in 2026. What the actual fuck.

@MatthewCoast While many will (Hopefully) be supported by their partners to achieve this, I feel it’s more to do with mothers HAVING to work, not because they want to. A lack of adequately paid maternity leave forces mothers to think about returning to work even before the child’s 1st bday!

JUST WONDERING HOW MOMS are supposed to work 9-5, drop the kids off at school at 8 AM, pick them up by 3 PM, stay on top of school activities, meal prep, cook dinner, keep the house clean, do the laundry, run the kids to extracurricular activities, climb the corporate ladder, save sick days for when the kids are sick, be a good friend, daughter, and partner, all while trying to take care of their own body and mental health…
