May not look like much, but this is the face of the guys who knew they were playing Colorless Eldrazi (a contender for all-time best PT Deck) before the cards were even on MTGO yet. My GOATS.

@ESPNFANSUPPORT Hey guys. On your Espn app, for fantasy hockey, all the players who normally have multiple position eligibility, only have one. I’ve been using your app for years and this is the first year I’ve seen this happen. Will this change? 🤔 Thanks!

Initiating Devmons Elite - team of 11 // Masters Hey all, we´ve been a bit low profile for a few months. But we initiate the @DevmonsGG Elite team now. Are you curious? See the details below. Vision - Masters only - Max 11 people - Foster friendly collaborative esport culture among peer group of friends - International team, EN speaking discord - Popularise Parallel Commercials - None, unless you need something (DM me) - You can use own cards or join Paragons / Devmons bond for their standard terms. (Bonds are coming live in a few weeks afaik) - We have all cards & boosters for anyone if you want. I´m also chill to gift you some stuff if you see it in my collection - This is a friendly group and we´re open to ideas / will play it by ear if people want to swap %s in tourneys or have any kind of commercial collaboration Cultural fit - Are you a friendly, chilled, low-ego, giver, team player, smart, driven, already made it, collaborative type of person with abundance mindset who cherishes successes of others? - You understand that TCG is similar to poker where you need to know your stuff but then we run thin edges with variance and RNG? So there is no reason to harass others with "who is better player", "you were lucky" and similar type of nonsense? Say GG first after every game. - You like to educate and share ideas? Are you a good writer? - You only make strong statements about stuff you understand really well. If you are less certain you provide that colour. - We somewhat like each other from web3 space, Parallel or other games I play tested? - We will share winning decks after we win tourneys to popularise Paralell and educate the mainstream. We will share some decks already before but we will keep some little secrets before tourneys start. Team members - add .DevGG at the end - IvanFloch.DevGG is MTG Pro tour winner and one of the best theory crafters in the world - Tango.DevGG is a strong TCG reg - StanCifka.DevGG is HS World Champ - Mrkvak.DevGG is a random web3 larp who pretends to know every game - The above are founding members and I will decide later whether or not they count in the max 11 Masters limit - Casabe.DevGG is my friend from Aurory who plays really well and is international DevGG Elite team member no. 1 @Casabe_trader - You can add your bond in the beginning of your name if you like - So sth like Paragons.YOURNAME.DevGG could be a standard if you use their bond or want to promote them for other reasons (like @gabusch giveaway :) or sth similar) - We will always be friendly with @ParagonsDAO and @gabusch YGG team Team size - is capped by 11 players for now - but it could grow in the future - there will be a regular purge by papa Kvak. Every quarter or month or when I see fit I will kick one member who has been the least active Are you interested? DM me. Players I´d love to invite to the team with a priority: @hevel030 @ManosTCG @kyintsugy @0xquinto @0xMilamber @kartohao @EclipseHW as they are either one of my best friends around Parallel or consistent Master players I really like. There is surely more people I forgot so please don´t get mad if I forgot about you and do DM me :) Feel free to dump me, it´s OK I still wanted to give you a shout out :) LFG //

We're moving this weekend and found these gems in the process. They're from the Cabin Crew draft testing era. If anyone wants to reminisce or guess who the unnamed individuals are, feel free. I'll tag everyone later in the comments.

Post mortem on our participation in Echelon Ardent tournament Hey all, we didn´t want to post about this before or during Planetfall sales. It was better for everyone to focus on Parallel expansion drop. But we feel it's right to make a statement about our participation in the Ardent tourney because it gained controversy and some people are still confused about what exactly happened. =============================== 1. What happened Devmons is a web3 investor and a small private esport team. We are funded by a group of friends who like NFTs, games and esports. We have been collecting Parallel cards and assets since PD1 in summer 2021. We did so from our 2 wallets - Xinanko and Hodoor. Our mission is among other things to support the games we invest in with playtesting, feedback and promoting the games. In March 2023 we hired two TCG stars Ivan Floch and Tango as our Parallel players. They have been playing the // game since the alpha stage. Xinanko wallet is paired to IvanFloch.Devgg Parallel account. Xinanko wallet will also be our guild´s main wallet going forward so when “bonds” (guilds) go live we will hire more players. Hodoor´s wallet Parallel name is Tango.Devgg. Both wallets have Ardent status. Nobody else ever played on these Parallel accounts and the wallets were never connected to a different Parallel account. We have 2 players - Ivan and Tango - and that´s it for now. Both players participated in the Echelon Ardent tournament. One community member WinCondition (known also as BordingCo) raised an official complaint to judges during the tournament asserting that IvanFloch.Devgg is not an Ardent and that he should be disqualified from the tournament. This started a discussion on discord about who is an Ardent and if esport teams like ours should be allowed to participate in tournaments for Ardents. =============================== 2. What rules said and what judges decided The rules to participate at the Ardent tournament said that: "Players who had an Ardent wallet connected to their Parallel account can participate." As a result the judges decided our player's participation didn't break any rules. Echelon tournament system does not have a system for web2 identities and follows the web3 wallets logic. You need to have your wallet connected and get your match codes from Echelon tourney app using the Ardent wallet. You are not required to KYC. To put it simply “the tourney was for wallets, not for people” which became a meme during the debate. However, rules are one thing. And legitimacy and community expectations can sometimes be a different thing. =============================== 3. What was the problem? The official complaint and statement from the judges obviously caught the attention of the community. And two problems came up: A) Many Ardent collectors realised some Ardent wallets are not individual collectors like themselves. Question arose “Is institutional ardent (esport team) like Devmons a true Ardent” or not? Opinions were different. B) Is it ok for an institutional ardent to bring professional TCG player (with background in MTG or HS) into Ardent tournament or not? So whilst the rules were clear and there was not much discussion about them as no rules were broken, the discussion shifted towards the spirit of the tournament and legitimacy of the situation. =============================== 4. Feedback we respected or appreciated We were active in discord during the discussion in order to provide information about What happened (summarised above), to learn what people perceived as Problem (summarised above), to listen to the community feedback and see where it all leads to. We were also targeted by insults so we tried to keep a cool head and focus on perceived problems and potential solutions. We respect people who came to voice concerns like this: “I was looking forward to a small tourney with nice rewards among a closed community of individual collectors. Didn´t want to play against the pros”. “I didn´t know some Ardent wallets were esport teams with TCG pros. If I knew that I might not have spent my 11 PRIME on buy in.” And we respected people who were asking about What happened and how we got into the situation. Mrkvak made many posts answering these questions. We apologise to all of you, if you still feel our participation made your experience worse. While registering for the tournament it never crossed our mind that we would be in any way unwelcome or that our mission as an esport team could be conflicting with what you expected from the tournament. Echelon Foundation understood these voices too and decided to refund every participant their buy-in and funded the buyin boost to pricepool from Echelon resources. People might have participated differently if they knew about some Ardents being esport teams. Everybody got their buy-in refunded and pricepool stayed boosted so Echelon assumed the cost and everybody else won. Thanks Echelon Foundation! We appreciated people who kept a cool head, informed themselves on What happened and listened to both sides of the argument. These people offered their views and conclusions in a civil manner and it was helpful for everyone. Thank you. Our special thanks, respects and appreciations go to players who faced our players in the brackets and didn´t complain. Speacial congrats to Brazy and DT1337 who busted our guys in the semis. As you can see if you play well and have a great deck there is no need to fear the pros. Pros are also good to promote the game. =============================== 5. What we did NOT appreciate We didn´t appreciate people who: - attacked or insulted us - didn´t have a good knowledge of What happened and still decided to throw a stone against us - insulted our players who did absolutely nothing wrong. (if somebody could be blamed about the situation it would be our team as a whole or its management. NEVER players). And of course we didn´t appreciate people who spread lies or defamatory news about us including things like: - Xinanko is Mrkvak´s wallet. (Truth is: It is not. It is Devmons wallet.) - Devmons are sharing accounts. (Truth is: nobody else ever played or will play on Ivan´s or Tango´s accounts. The wallets were never connected to other // accounts either). - Kvak let Ivan play on his account. (Truth is: people who say this don´t know the background or are simply stupid haters). - Devmons have no honour. (Truth is: we entered the tournaments with a hope to have fun with friends and we were transparent about our lineup two weeks in advance). - Devmons found a loop hole how to exploit the tournament. (Truth is: if our intention was to milk your tournament for a few extra bucks, we would probably have not announced our players with their civil names and would not have been promoting everything on our twitter). =============================== 5. What next? We felt like it was important to put the full truth on the internet once. Now that the drama is over, it may be useful for participants to reflect on it once more. If you had incomplete or wrong background about the situation you will find this summary useful. We are friendly people and don´t want to be unnecessarily bad mouthed by others. We believe the situation stress tested the decentralised processes and community governance inside Echelon once again. It was handled well by most participants and the Echelon team and the community learned from the situation. However, for those of you who still wanna hate us or be a cry baby, we are comfortable to be the bad guys. We have couple of closing statements for you: - “If you expected a fair fight, you were wrong!” - If you still wanna cry, please submit your complaints to our evil HQ. - Get better in Parallel. - We are Institutional Ardent! Where are we and where are you now?
