@TellYourSonThis A son naturally tends to criticize his father in his bid to become better than him. Yet until he walks in his shoes, he doesn't see his father clearly enough to critique him in any meaningful way. But the moment he walks in those shoes, the less willing he is to criticize him

Yesterday, May 19th, in Abuja, I attended the Presidential screening organised by our party, which took over two and a half hours. They carefully reviewed all my documents, including my degree certificates, NYSC credentials, and age declarations. During the process, I also addressed questions regarding my vision for a new Nigeria and the type of leadership our nation urgently needs right now. Following this, I was cleared and received the presidential nomination form I had previously paid for. I would like to commend the screening committee, led by former governor Sam Egwu, for their thorough and professional approach. Additionally, I appreciate our party's leadership for upholding the democratic process. A New Nigeria is POssible. - PO

A lecturer without a WAEC certificate has been tormenting students for several years. Fake WAEC, Fake Bsc, Fake PhD. Abia State Government have intensified their investigations. All fake certificate holders will be fished out and suspended. All of them. All forms of sorting, victimizations, sex for grades, extortions will be addressed and stopped. By the time they are done, Abia State University will operate at the same quality level with that of top African universities. We need to restore excellence in our universities so that we can start producing top quality graduates that will lead the African workforce in 10 years.

Dear @boltapp, The individual featured in the thread below successfully bypassed your KYC verification using a fake AI-generated image. The only accurate detail on his profile is his phone number which victims have now used to establish his real identity. He has been using bolt delivery platform to collect goods, laptops phones etc from multiple unsuspecting clients who believed they are using a safe and secured platform. Despite multiple reports from affected users, he was allowed to continue operating on Bolt and defrauded even more people. Luckily One of the clients asked him to show is face when handing him an iPhone, that was how he was identified as the individual who actually registered the contact informations This level of inaction effectively aids and abets criminal activity on your platform. Cases like this have become far too rampant. We urge you to take immediate and decisive action: suspend this account, investigate the matter thoroughly, and strengthen your KYC processes to prevent further exploitation.

The Bolt rider who disappeared with several people’s laptops and gadgets has been identified as Andre Andoor. He used an AI-generated profile picture, fake email (samlarry@gmail.com), and forged plate numbers to register on the platform. The plate numbers are not even registered in the FRSC system. How are criminals this easily allowed on delivery platforms like Bolt? He collected gadgets from at least two victims before vanishing. Be extremely careful when using Bolt for gadget deliveries. Verify riders properly. Share this to warn others.

136 years ago, the man who broke the spell was born. If Hồ Chí Minh could see today’s world, he would not be surprised. He knew that history bends toward balance, not empire. He would look at Vietnam's victory, still standing, still sovereign, still proof that the most powerful military on earth can be defeated by a people who refuse to disappear. He would look at China’s rise, at Russia's defiance, at Africa’s awakening, at Cuba's endurance, at Iran's resistance, and smile. Not because the struggle is over. But because the world is finally beginning to resemble the one he died believing in. A world where power no longer means domination. Where sovereignty is not a privilege but a birthright. He would say what he later gave Vietnam as an immortal truth: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom." That spirit has outlived its borders. It lives wherever the Global South refuses to bow. Happy birthday, Uncle Hồ. The spell is broken. The prophecy holds.

Burkina Faso’s government under President Ibrahim Traoré has shut down all laboratories involved in a controversial genetically modified mosquito project, ordering the destruction of remaining samples and halting over a decade of research. The project, known as Target Malaria, involved releasing gene-edited mosquitoes into the wild to combat malaria. It had been operating in the country since 2012 and had just received regulatory approval from Burkina Faso’s biosafety authorities weeks earlier. However, the government acted after strong public opposition, stating that the people of Burkina Faso had not consented to their country being used as a testing ground for Western biotechnology experiments. The modified mosquitoes were being developed in laboratories in the United States, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

@boltapp 1. Are you saying passengers are no longer safe using your platform?? 2. Are you saying a passenger can easily be killed, extorted, or kidnapped because your driver may decide to cancel the ride while in motion to do what's on his mind?? 3. Are you saying you don't do physical verification, driver's verification, plate numbers verification before employment???? You all are becoming a threat to your clients. HeartMattaz

Good People, geopolitics has a way of exposing the difference between ideals and interests. We are now reading that the Iran conflict is triggering a global return to coal as nations scramble to replace disrupted crude oil and natural gas supplies. With major LNG flows through the Strait of Hormuz affected, countries that spent years preaching aggressive climate transitions are adjusting rapidly. Taiwan is reactivating idle coal plants. South Korea significantly increased coal-fired electricity generation. Environmental targets are suddenly meeting energy realities. This reminds me of the point I made recently when Canada moved to remove major federal climate rules. Policies often appear absolute until national interests become threatened. Once energy security, economic growth, industrial competitiveness, or political stability enters the equation, governments recalibrate quickly. The lesson is not that climate concerns are unimportant. Far from it. Climate change remains real and environmental stewardship matters. But nations do not operate primarily on moral philosophy; nations operate on strategic interests. Adam Smith explained the Invisible Hand in economics, but there is also an invisible hand in geopolitics: self-preservation. When circumstances change, countries adjust policies to protect their economies and citizens. In moments of uncertainty, governments choose energy availability over climate orthodoxy because factories must run, homes require electricity, and economies cannot pause. This is why Africa must study the world carefully. For years, many African countries have faced pressure to move rapidly away from hydrocarbons and traditional energy systems despite having some of the world's largest untapped energy resources and despite still confronting fundamental development challenges. Yet when crises emerge, many of the same advanced economies quietly return to the energy options they previously discouraged others from pursuing. The issue here is not hypocrisy; it is realism. Nations protect themselves first. And that means Africa must therefore be pragmatic, not naïve. In climate geopolitics, there is no absolute climate “right” or “wrong”, only national interest. Let us protect our environment, but let us also protect our development, understanding that global players will always choose themselves first tekedia.com/when-energy-se…

By 2036, the South East should produce Africa’s strongest pipeline of engineers, builders, teachers, nurses, doctors, technicians, founders, AI workers, and globally employable professionals. The South East must make intelligence socially prestigious again. Any society that allows children to cheat in exams is manufacturing future incompetence.

Education is the factory that produces politicians, lawyers, engineers, doctors, pharmacists, nurses, etc. So if education is corrupt, the nation is finished. No country becomes great with fake exams. So the first national emergency is assessment integrity. WAEC, NECO, GCE, JAMB, university exams, professional exams, all must become clean, technology-driven, traceable, and consequence-based. Exam malpractice should not be treated as “normal Nigerian behaviour.” It should be treated as economic sabotage. Because every fake A produces a weak graduate, and every weak graduate weakens the nation. This is what the Minister for education and all state commissioners for education should face head on and solve.

I don’t blame Frank Edoho for begging Chike to leave his wife alone… because years ago, I was in almost the same situation. Imagine sleeping with your woman and she suddenly moans another man’s name mid-action… that moment changed me forever. Here’s my story. 💔 Back then, I was working at Poly Products in Sango Ota. 7am–7pm shift every single day with just 1 hour break. Factory work no be joke. Because phones weren’t allowed and I barely had time to press it anyway, my girlfriend always kept my phone till night when I closed from work. Every evening, before going home, I’d stop by her place to collect it. But I started noticing something strange… once I switched the phone on, Facebook notifications from random guys would flood in immediately. At first I ignored it. Later I found out she was always online doing all those naughty “1-100” games, sex chats and flirty dares with different guys. One time, one of them even told her to wear a skimpy skirt while coming to see him… and she actually did it. The painful part? I escorted her to the bus stop myself while she took a bike to the guy’s place. And I still didn’t leave. I kept trying to “understand her.” Kept hoping she’d change. Then she introduced me to her “bestie.” Cool guy. We exchanged numbers. I even used to report my relationship issues to him, asking for advice… not knowing this same guy had already been sleeping with my girlfriend behind my back. How did I finally find out? One day while we were having sex, she mentioned his name. I froze. She denied it the first time. Then it happened again… and again… until she finally confessed everything. When I confronted the guy, do you know what he told me? “Bro, leave her. She’s not the kind of girl you can settle down with.” Even after hearing that, I still loved her. Still cared. Still stayed. Until one day she looked at me herself and said: “Forget about me and focus on your life.” Funny enough… that was the best thing she ever did for me. Because if she didn’t leave, I probably would’ve married her. And my life today might have been a complete disaster. Sometimes heartbreak is not punishment. Sometimes it’s rescue. 💔

I have a recommendation to Abia State Government and other state governments as they investigate fraud in universities. By law, students should be given their exam scripts after marking to enable them review and debate it. This will eliminate sorting and victimization.

UNN Liason officer wrote this about me. Kindly read and share your thoughts… *Alex Onyia's Condemnation vs Soludo's Example of True Alumni Spirit in UNN* An alumnus is more than a former student. He is a lifelong ambassador of the institution that helped shape his intellect, character and future. True alumni spirit is measured not merely by criticism, but by commitment, constructive contribution and a sincere desire to see one’s alma mater progress. It is against this backdrop that it becomes necessary to examine the recent conduct of Mr. Alex Onyia and the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, both of whom visited the University of Nigeria the same week. For many years after graduating from the University of Nigeria, Alex Onyia appeared disconnected from the affairs and development of his alma mater. Yet, when invited by his faculty to deliver the Herbert Macaulay Memorial Lecture, an honour reserved for distinguished alumni expected to inspire students and contribute positively to intellectual discourse, he chose instead to turn the occasion into a public spectacle aimed at embarrassing the University. Rather than focusing on mentorship and inspiring students, Alex Onyia mounted the podium threatening legal action against the university over the condition of some aging hostels. More troubling was the calculated manner in which he arrived with Afia Television crew, not primarily to document the academic event, but to showcase decaying infrastructure in a manner designed to ridicule the university before the public. What makes this behaviour particularly unfair is that he was most likely aware that the university management, under Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya had already awarded contracts for the renovation of some of the hostels, including Eni-Njoku, the hostel in question. Responsible stakeholders who genuinely care about the University's progress acknowledge ongoing efforts even while advocating for improvement. Instead, Alex Onyia ignored these realities and proceeded with a campaign of sensationalism. His subsequent appearance on live television, where he reportedly declared that the entire University of Nigeria was “stinking,” crossed the line from criticism into outright disparagement. No institution is perfect, especially public universities operating under severe funding constraints in Nigeria. However, reducing a historic institution such as the University of Nigeria to insulting soundbites before a national audience reflects poorly not only on the institution but also on the individual making such statements. Even more disturbing was what followed a day after his televised outburst. Alex Onyia allegedly made claims that the university management had evicted a visually impaired student whom he had interviewed during his tour of the hostel facilities. The allegation quickly generated public sympathy and outrage. However, the claims were subsequently debunked by the university authorities as well as independent individuals and groups who investigated the matter. Among those who reportedly interacted directly with the visually impaired student was the National Association of Nigerian Students, which also contradicted the allegation that the student had been victimized or unjustly removed by the university management. The contradiction of Mr. Onyia’s claims by multiple independent voices inevitably raises serious questions about his intentions and credibility.

A friend shared a story with me recently… and honestly this one can destroy a relationship, two families and even a future marriage 💔 This guy travelled to the UK 4 years ago for his Masters. Before travelling, he had already dated his girlfriend who is a nurse for 3 years… meaning they’ve been together for 7 years now. But the girl lives here in Nigeria He's the kind of guy that helps everybody. Even when he doesn't have enough, he will still find a way to help people. At some point, family members and even friends started exploiting him badly. Some would even lie just to collect money from him. His girlfriend kept warning him, but he never listened. Sometimes he will say he is not helping again, the next minute he sees himself helping. Eventually, they agreed that the girl should handle all his finances. Immediately she took over, everything changed. The unnecessary spending stopped. Fake emergencies stopped. Random billing stopped. For the first time in his life, the guy saved over 30 million naira while working in the UK. But because the girl was blocking excessive access to money, his family started hating her. They called him a fool for trusting a woman with his finances. He was even planning to marry the girl by December. Then recently, the girl's younger brother visited her for one month. After he left, she discovered that somebody had been withdrawing money gradually from the account daily and deleting the bank SMS alerts. After investigation, they discovered it started during the period her younger brother visited. The guy and his girlfriend searched for him for almost one month before finally finding him. Everything was gone. The boy had already wasted the money on drugs, nightlife and other reckless things. Now both families are at war 💔 The guy's family says the girl and her brother planned everything together. The girl is crying and swearing she knew nothing about it. Now the girl's father wants to sell their family house just to repay the money. The guy is confused. Should he: Arrest the boy? Still continue the marriage? Demand the money from the girl’s family? Or walk away completely? What would you do if you were in his shoes? 🤔

There's this evil "business" happening in Lagos. I'll narrate a story with names (fictional names) that portrays this business properly. Jane is a beautiful lady in her mid twenties with nice boobs and a petite ass. She wanted more, because she had been seeing her peers living lavishly, spending days in Dubai, Bahamas, Zanzibar, Doha, Paris, etc. She needed to feel among, but she had a flaw that she tagged "a fundamental flaw." She didn't have a big ass! She kept appearing in Lagos clubs, determined to make it and 'live the life'. One evening, everything changed... Chief Awo carried her home and asked her what she wanted. She believed she had met her helper unbeknownst to her that she had met a ruthless man who was only interested in the business of exploitation. Jane told Chief Awo that her only desire was to have a BBL and travel the world. After listening, chief Awo promised to sponsor her BBL abroad but she had to sign a contract which said she'd remit the sum of 200 million Naira in 18 months and all her living expenses, fully furnished apartments and 'clients' would be provided. After the repayment, she'd get control of her life once again and she could come to the negotiating table where she'll be working on commission for "them". She signed the contract out of desperation and the necessary arrangements were made. After a few months, she came back as a proper baddie and even overtook her peers. Today she's with senator this, tomorrow commissioner that... And after 13 months, she had remitted a total of 150 million naira. Then the problem struck... She got attached to a client! The client, a wealthy businessman bent the knee and popped the 4-word question: "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" Her next answer ruined her life... Her lover was abducted by her "owners" and she was forced to continue with the business or imagine the worst possible action from them. She couldn't report to anyone because they controlled those 'authorities' and nothing could be done... She couldn't complete the money within the timeframe, and a hidden clause in that contract stated that failure to complete the payments within the stipulated time, you'd become their property for life. Now she's begging and asking for suggestions... Mind you, her lover has disappeared without a trace. End of story... Just as we have Generator cabal, oil cabal, finance cabal, we also have BBL cabals. Young ladies, please be careful with your body. There are men who would cherish you in your natural form. Avoid quick gratification!
