fwiw it seems to me that trading on this kind of stuff if you dont understand it properly is not super dissimilar to the "trading on astrological cycles" or picking any other kind of data that you don't understand to inform your thinking, and is not worth doing. im not trading on my own "macro" takes the same way im not building my own car, because i dont know how to make a car and it will lead to my certain death. i guess to a lot of you it is not super unusual to trade on data you don't understand because you buy and sell based on the tweets of a wolf, a bird and a 7ft man from new york but i highly encourage building your own convictions via the act of trialling curiosity rather than worrying about the macro takes of a man who couldn't make it to plat in league after 7 years.
