@Bmhelm I just glanced at this abstract. I’m surprised by the statement that there was a significant difference in IQ. I wouldn’t exactly tell patients that a 6 point IQ difference, when still very much in the average IQ range, was concerning.

@RTICCoolers we placed an order with you over Black Friday weekend for my parent’s Christmas gift from all of their kids. It has YET to ship and we can’t get ahold of anyone from your company to tell us why. Help!!

This is the 4th!!! Time I’ve had to chat with their customer service and it has literally take me 45 minutes. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a company. 10/10 do NOT recommend verizon Fios.

@verizonfios @VerizonSupport doesn’t want to credit my account for the extra charges when they cancelled my original changes without being notified. I am SO frustrated. I am about to cancel my service and go somewhere else.

I made changes to our Verizon Fios account on 10/31 to be effective today. I was told that I needed to pick up our new router by today. My husband went to pick up said router last weekend and found out the changes I made were cancelled.

@jonathangraf I got my entire 100k balance forgiven last summer and I still go back and double check that the balance is $0. It’s an eerily wonderful feeling.

@tap3000 @knguyenpoetry You would likely qualify for an income based repayment plan and there are special loan forgiveness options for teachers and those working in the nonprofit sectors. I just had 100k of my loan balances forgiven through the PSLF program.

@knguyenpoetry Ain’t no way I can pay the federal government $335,607 back on a Teacher’s salary or even on a state government employee’s salary. The entire federal student loan program is a scam to keep Black students in debt, the same students who ancestors were enslaved.

I used to work in student loan servicing and here are the top things I think people need to know about their federal student loans and how to make them manageable if you’re really struggling to pay them. A thread:

@knguyenpoetry @MrsYALibrarian I think parent plus loans are eligible for the public service loan forgiveness program too- Savi is a nonprofit group I used to help navigate the paperwork and process for PSLF and they were helpful!

@MrsYALibrarian Okay parent plus loans are not technically eligible for income driven repayment plans but I think you can get around this by reconsolidating them twice (don’t consolidate all at once, do it in chunks). There’s like a loophole.

Hey #genechat anyone know if there are any clinical labs offering optical genome mapping? Better yet, anyone aware if insurance is covering this testing? Just heard about this and curious if it is offered clinically or just via research.

And to see @ticketmaster not allowing anyone who wasn’t “verified” to gain access to affordable tickets after they cancelled their other sales for @taylorswift13 just makes me so mad and angry. I had no idea verified status was a thing.

I’ve decided verified fan status on @Ticketmaster is just garbage. If you were truly a fan, you wouldn’t be trying to sell your @taylorswift13 tickets for $2k plus on various platforms.
