NEWS: The San Francisco Giants have signed LHP Carson Bolemon to a signing bonus of $3,382,500. Bolemon was the No. 29 pick in the Draft. The deal is $112,300 over-slot for pick 29. Bolemon was the No. 19 ranked prospect in the Draft at @OverSlot_

Bryce Eldridge has been way better at making contact as a big leaguer this year than he ever was in the minors. 78.4 Contact% and 9.2 SwStr% with SFG this year. Puts him in line with a guy like Matt Olson.

With the draft officially over, I just wanted to say that I had an absolute blast “covering” the #SFGiants draft these past two days For all those who followed along and interacted all weekend, I really appreciate it, this has been the most fun I’ve had talking Giants baseball on this app I am absolutely thrilled with what they left with, Flora/Bolemon/Waechter are awesome adds and immediately boost our biggest weakness. Bonds could be super legit. Lots of fun arms in the middle rounds, and some bats with intrigue as well. Matt Chapman is on pace to have one of the better defensive seasons of his career. He's at 15 Defensive Runs Saved and it's not even July yet. He had 17 DRS in his first season with the #SFGiants and 22 and 23 DRS in his back-to-back platinum glove seasons with the A's.
