@tacticallyurban In this times they would rather have everyone driving to pocket fuel taxes. If they actually gave people a tax break for cycling to work and improved safety and infrastructure, you would probably see the amount of commuters grow 10fold. Oh wait, coalition parties rule in Gauteng.

I’m surprised at the noticeable amount of commuter cyclists in Johannesburg. This city really has cycling potential. I know there is lots of issues like crime and safety but it is possible!
