@BuySellStopcom @24_70xu I thought the mighty US was going to open the Strait, or that changed as fast as cheese on a hot pan? We're used to the pendulum statements by americans. Zero grounding or principle.

@24_70xu I am typing slowly so low IQ clowns like you can keep up: There is no reason enter The Strait. There is no reason to invade Iran. All the US has to do is leave on the blockade and blow shit up. The entire Iranian economy is 2 weeks from total collapse and then beyond repair.

U.S. has currently deployed 3 aircraft carriers around Iran, along with over a 200 fighter jets and more than 12 naval ships. Even so, it does not have the confidence to enter the Strait of Hormuz or the Persian Gulf. It is still staying about 200 kilometers away from Iran’s coast due to fear.

Living in Tatu City is not easy.  Children under 13 must be accompanied, walking is on specific pavements and pets should not make noise. To enter you require identification, house you are visiting, owner's confirmation....aand you must remember the entry number to exit.

Rongo MP is proposing a law to allow the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) to review fuel prices every 14 days instead of 30. He argues it will lower prices since global markets change fast. Sounds great when prices are falling. But when they rise, are you ready for fuel to go up just as fast? We can’t only think about the “good side” of policy. And does this align with the G-to-G deal, or quietly contradict it? Be careful what you wish for. Let’s wait and see the actual bill.

NTSA holds more leverage than it probably realises. Define the standards. Set the minimum capacity. Phase out the small buses. Then get out of the way and let private capital do the rest. The next generation of Nairobi matatus builds itself if the rules make it inevitable. We can debate this forever. Nothing moves until someone decides to move it. This is about what Nairobi deserves as a capital city not aesthetics. Safe vehicles. Dignified travel. Buses that a wheelchair user can actually board. That’s the baseline. The Nganya culture isn’t dying it’s relocating. Let it define the identity of the next town on the rise. Nairobi has outgrown it.

Unless we rein in ministry officials working in cohort with KPC officials and Uganda oil marketers, and prioritize our own fuel reserves at least 540,000 MT to cushion us for three months we will continue to face supply risks. How do you explain a situation where transit fuel, destined for neighboring countries like Uganda, is given priority in storage at KPC over our own local reserves? @WilliamsRuto @OpiyoWandayi @kenyapipeline

I know it hurts a lot, but the truth is : Fuel isn’t “free money.” Cheaper fuel means less levy revenue for roads. Kenya has 164,967 km of roads, 15.1% paved (24,868 km); Uganda has 146,000 km, 4.4% paved (6,466 km); Tanzania has 181,000 km, 8% paved (15,000 km). Kenya uses a fuel/roads levy, and cheaper fuel still means less road funding unless the gap is covered elsewhere. The choice is simple: lower taxes and cheaper fuel with slower road development, or higher levies and stronger road expansion. The opposition should stop turning every fuel conversation into cheap politics and blaming Ruto for everything.
