I said it once and I'll say it again. The 49ers don't need an "heir apparent" to Trent Williams while Trent Williams is on the roster. They didn't have that guy when Joe Staley was in the final years of his career and nobody cared. Now all of a sudden it's a big problem?

The mortgage on our home is interest-only. Why? Because it’s much smarter to invest that principal instead of paying it back to myself every month. Unless you need a forced savings account to protect yourself from yourself, OR You don’t have good investment opportunities, an interest-only mortgage is a no-brainer. It’s actually not even close.

The CA Governor’s race is unique. No candidate will have the $$ necessary to break through. Digital ads = ignored. Traditional commercials = expensive. Viewership = fragmented. Yet the race is of substantial interest, reported on daily. The MSM will choose our next Governor

What’s a good example of a player that left the 49ers and came back to the 49ers and did great?

With 2 kids and multiple road trips per year, we’re ready to upgrade my wife to a family hauler. She loves Yukons. Dream car for her. It’s time for her to have one but I don’t want to break the bank. I know these 6.2s have some issues but these things are still all over the roads. Would you be concerned with a 2022 with 65,000 miles? This is from a local dealer where she has always gotten her cars from.

@grok Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit @Ad49Ers profile? It doesn't need to be mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was.

@JBlonien @jocoffey23 Profile visits on X are private, so I can't confirm directly. Based on his recent reply to a post, the most famous person likely to have visited jocoffey23's profile is Justin Trudeau.

@JBlonien @SacAppraiser @SacRegionHomes Payments are always lower. Overall cost of mortgage is higher given the larger amount of total interest. However, as I said above, the average life of a mortgage is 6 to 7 years, meaning the additional total interest would never be realized.

Lower mortgage rates would help energize the housing market, but it's also a temporary solution for affordability. It's like going on vacation when a relationship is struggling. Yeah, it feels good for the weekend, but there are deeper issues still needing to be addressed.

@SacAppraiser @SacRegionHomes You would still offer 15 or 30 years. The idea behind a 40 would be a step up solution due to prices that are much higher than when the 30 year mortgage was conceptualized.

As we begin #HouseOfOrigin week, the Assembly will tackle 400+ bills over the next few days. Our team will be working around the clock to get the job done. Kudos to my colleagues for their dedication to the #CALeg institution.

I think government is generally not helpful and I’m not sure why we should trust the “swamp”. So, believe it or not, I don’t support everything any government does, even if my party is “in power.” That said, I certainly want the government to succeed and griping about, or litigating, every decision is counter intuitive. Sometimes I wonder if my colleagues in the Legislature understand when you constantly are in fight mode against the federal govt, there is very little incentive for it to partner together. Sure it may be politically expedient, but it doesn’t actually serve the people of this state.

Don’t really get why Trump is saying he wants to fire Powell. Just going to make it harder for him to pivot since he’ll look politically motivated

Tomorrow is the big day! My girlfriend and I have to listen to a 2-hour timeshare presentation for getting such a great deal to stay in Myrtle Beach this week. Has anyone sat through these things before? Pro tips? I know they are relentless and have a solution for every objection. What else do you have?
