Hey @Yahoo can you be any less supportive of customer service and long time users? You signed me out of an email I have had for 25 years and my 2FA is out of date as I recently retired and turned the email and phone in. There has to be a way to recover the account! Be better.

I found a guy who goes around the US asking 70 to 100-year-olds their: • Biggest Regrets • Biggest Lessons • Advice to their younger self Oddly enough, most of their answers are the same… Here are my top 8:

This was not written by me, but it touched me deeply… Sunday is coming. “He received 39 stripes because 40 was known to kill a man. They wanted him alive. They held handfuls of his beard, and hair and pulled it out by the roots. They wanted him alive. They kicked, punched, and spit on him for hours. Until there wasn't a single spot on his body not covered in blood. They wanted him alive. They shoved a crown of thorns down on his head so harshly it stuck in his skin. They wanted him alive. After hours of being beaten, mocked, whipped, flogged, and tortured they made him walk with a cross. They made him carry it. A rough piece of wood with splinters digging into fresh wounds. They wanted him alive. They wanted him to feel every ounce of pain they could bring. He had to feel it in order to heal us. Crucifixion was historically one of the cruelest most tortured deaths a human could face. Hours upon hours of torture. Torture most of us can not mentally think of because the cruelty isn't normal. It isn't something our minds can comprehend. We celebrate Easter with pastel colors, happy children hunting eggs, and chocolate. Truth is there was absolutely nothing happy about the day Jesus died. It was cruel, bloody, and nasty. He could have stopped all of it. He could have called every angel in heaven to demolish every person standing and shouting "Crucify Him!" He didn't. He knew in order to have a Sunday you have to have a Friday. He knew in order to have joy you have to carry your cross. He felt everything that day. He felt how your heart broke wide open when you had to watch your baby die. He felt how heavy your life was when you were staring down the barrel of a gun wondering if the man you called husband was going to shoot you. He carried the weight of the burden you have felt since your spouse died, and life just doesn't seem right since. On that cross he held the rapist and murderers, the sinner and the saint. He leveled every playing field and said ALL of you are worth it. He knew he had to carry the cross. He never promised the cross you carry in this life would not be heavy. His wasn't. His promise is that Sunday is coming. No matter how heavy Friday is. Financially, emotionally, mentally, or physically. Friday is heavy. That cross is weighing you down and you are about to crumble under its weight. His promise was simply this. He won't make you carry it alone. What kind of king would step down from his throne for this? Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God did. For you. He did every bit of it for you and me. Oh yes, it is heavy. So heavy sometimes you do not think you can take one more step. But look up, because Sunday is coming.”

They don’t even let Joe Biden walk up the real stairs on Air Force 1 now — and they have a secret service agent stationed at the bottom to catch him — and he almost tripped today leaving for California.

I post my wins, I post my losses, but sometimes I post my regrets. I have a few. I brought my dad (who is in his 80’s) to my cabin this weekend. We got talking about life and how much longer he thought he had. He said “I’ll probably be around 4-5 more years”. Hit me VERY hard. Now that I’ve aged, I only wish I had spent more time with him when I was in my 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. Years I spent chasing the dream, chasing money, chasing aspirations. I’d see him every year at the big holidays, birthdays and all. But didn’t ever do any one on one trips with him. After just riding around on the side by side (I had to help him get in and out which also hit hard), sitting and talking, giving him a hug when we parted ways…kind of hope he’s around until he hits 100 and kind of wish I could go back in time. Take your elderly parent(s) on a short trip if you're able. You don't have to fly them to Bali. Rent a little vacation home nearby. There will come a time when you wish you had those years back.

I can't stop thinking about this question: Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown? In 2021, Georgia Tech strength coach Lewis Caralla delivered this epic speech to the football team. If it doesn't get you motivated, you may need to check your pulse... He opens with a few harsh truths: • Winning isn't loyal to you • Winning doesn't care about you • Winning doesn't care how sore you are • Winning doesn't care how hard you work • Winning doesn't care how much sleep you get But it's his question that stuck with me: Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown? The willingness to sprint with no clear view of the finish line is rare. It requires two things: 1. A deep belief in one's self 2. A deep belief in the mission If you have 1 but not 2, you won't be able to do it. If you have 2 but not 1, you won't be able to do it. You need both. In my observation, the greatest things in life are accomplished when you're willing to sprint when the distance is unknown: The sprint to care for your loved ones in their time of need. The sprint to build something meaningful. The sprint to serve others and create positive ripples in the world. Goal: Find those rare things in life that you're willing to sprint for when the distance is unknown. That, to me, is the definition of winning. "And why chase winning? Because the only thing that's guaranteed in life if you don't chase it is losing."

@USAA you can do better. Your auto insurance customer service experience has been awful. Two+weeks of leaving messages, with no calls back and adjusters who could care less is a bad look. You’re better than this. Your community is better than what you provide.
