I’m going to say this clearly. My role, as an Iranian in the diaspora, is to amplify the suppressed voices inside Iran. If they say “we need help,” I’m saying “we need help.” If they say “keep the strikes coming,” I’m saying “keep the strikes coming.” If they say “stop the war,” I’m staying “stop the war.” It’s really that simple. So if you hate my voice, you hate their voice. And if you can’t stand the voices of those living the experience, then you’re probably prioritizing your narrative over truth.

Faith is deeply important to all the Afghan women and girls I teach online. It seems to have very little to with the rulings of the Taliban. This was written by a teenager. Eid Mubarak to those who celebrate.

I just sat down with one of the highest ranking former insiders of the Islamic Republic, Mehdi Nasiri. From 1990 to 1994, he was Ali Khamenei's direct representative and ran the regime's most important publishing arm. Very few people on earth have sat face to face with Mojtaba Khamenei. Mehdi Nasiri is one of them, and his warning to the world is urgent. Nasiri exposes the terrifying reality of an isolated, incompetent leadership that is driven by a radical, imported ideology. He breaks down exactly how the men running the Islamic Republic justify their grip on power and why their willingness to burn the world down to stay in control is not a bluff. 🎖️ Come to talk to me in our discussion group: skool.com/libertypolitic…

Whoever wants to eat non-halal Indian food, please DM me for bookings or just walk in. The restaurant is not busy, as bulk fake bookings are made online to sabotage my business. Looking forward to see you

This is the truth of Iran in one sentence, written on a wall in Tehran by my compatriots: “Do not fear the destruction. Freedom is worth more than construction.” There is a whole nation inside that line. Because walls can be raised again. Roads can be laid again. Cities can be rebuilt again. But a people without freedom are only being buried in better ruins. That is the soul of Iran speaking. We know what can be restored, and we know what must come first.

The @guardian interviewed a regime actor and published her story pretending to “want change but not like this” This is a prime example of the collaboration between leftist media & the regime. Working together to erase the voices of the people & amplify narratives that serve them
Hemad Nazari@Hemadnazari

Hey @guardian @stephglinski About your report, serious question: why feature a woman in your Iran anti-war report as a “civilian voice” when her public social media shows clear pro-regime activism? Is this an oversight, or are you presenting regime supporters as neutral citizens?

Meet Sahba Rashtian. She was 23. A women’s football player in Iran’s premier league and a referee’s assistant on the field. She was also an artist, a nature lover, and someone who lived life with the energy that athletes bring to everything they do. On January 19, in the city of Isfahan, she was shot by the Islamic Republic’s security forces. A direct bullet to her side ended the life of a young woman who had spent 23 years growing, dreaming, creating. At her funeral, her mother held her photo and said something that should break anyone’s heart: “I raised this angel for twenty-three years. Now I have to stare at her inside a grave?” Say her name: Sahba Rashtian. #IranMassacre

Yesterday, on the eve of the Iranian New Year (Nowruz), the Islamic Republic hanged five teenagers who had been detained during the January protests in the cities of Qom and Ilam. Today, 18-year-old Melika Azizi from the city of Rasht, who was arrested for burning regime symbols during the protests, faces imminent execution in Rasht prison on the charge of Moharebeh (waging war against Allah). #IranMassacre‌ won't stop!

Bobby Green, just watched your this, the way your voice broke when you spoke about the execution of Iranian wrestler Navid Afkari, it broke me. You were right. It’s heartbreaking. Today Saleh Mohamadi, 19-year old wrestler executed for protesting. We need your voice again. 💔
Masih Alinejad 🏳️@AlinejadMasih

Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔 After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite. Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial. Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal. I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices. This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.

A brief toilet story: Last night at M&S cafe: both female and accessible loos broken. I arrived for the loo at the same time as a Dad and his two young girls. We both realised we all had to use the men’s loo. But the scheme was obvious to both of us, without handwringing: He went in and confirmed it was empty. He returned and sent me and one of his girls in, saying he would guard the outside door. I returned just after said child and looked at Easter eggs with her while he went in with the other. Adults are perfectly capable of sensible public loo use in an emergency 🤣

A film crew arrived on Tuesday with a drone, a budget, and a 4,000-word researcher's brief about the environmental damage caused by British beef farming. What they found was Gerald. Gerald was in the south corner. 9:30am - The drone went up. Gerald watched the drone for approximately three seconds, concluded it wasn't interesting, and went back to grazing. Thirty seconds of footage: bull, ignoring drone, eating grass. Not the footage. 11:00am - The researcher asked the farmer about Gerald's methane output. The farmer explained the biogenic cycle. The researcher said that wasn't in her brief. The farmer said it was in the peer-reviewed literature. The brief did not contain the peer-reviewed literature. 12:30pm - The cameraman asked if Gerald could do something. The farmer: "Like what?" The cameraman: "Something more active." Gerald lay down in the south corner. Gerald had been awake since 5am and had grazed eleven acres. Gerald found the cameraman's schedule irrelevant. 1:00pm - The producer walked the south corner with an ecologist who was there on a separate Natural England survey. The ecologist pointed out the seven wildflower species. The Bombus humilis. The dung beetle activity. The lapwing pair. The producer: "Is this because of the cow?" Ecologist: "Yes." Producer: "Can we use that?" Ecologist: "You're making a film about Gerald being a problem." Producer: "...Can we use it anyway?" 4:00pm - They left. The documentary has a two-star rating on streaming. The south corner has a UK priority bee species. Gerald is in the south corner. Gerald has not seen the documentary. Gerald does not have a streaming subscription.

Official: the Arabs are done with the regime. A Kuwaiti political analyst publicly stated what many in the region know but rarely say openly. For many Arab states, the most immediate and dangerous threat in the region is not Israel. It is Iran. #IranIsraeliUSAWar

“Iranians have long relied on calloused palms to climb out of despair. Across generations, hands hardened under the Islamic regime have carried the dream of freedom. We are conditioned by survival. Our hope is a learned discipline. Our faith in endurance isn’t the denial of reality. It’s a time tested understanding of who we are.” Please watch. #IranIsraelUSWar

In 1300, England's primary export was wool. Not wheat. Not timber. Not fish. Wool. The Cotswolds, the Yorkshire Dales, the Welsh uplands: these were not scenic backdrops. They were the engine. The sheep were the industry. The fleece funded the cathedrals. Literally: the wool merchants of the Cotswolds paid for most of them. The wool trade funded the Hundred Years War. The Lord Chancellor of England sat on a woolsack in the House of Lords from the fourteenth century. The woolsack is still there. The Hanseatic League built their northern European trade networks largely around English wool. Flemish weavers built the city of Bruges on it. The Italian banking system, the Medici included, was capitalised in part on wool trade credit. This was Doris. Not exactly Doris. Doris's ancestors, the medieval fell sheep that grazed the same uplands Doris grazes now, producing the same wool from the same grass in the same rain. The wool that built the economy that built the architecture that people now drive three hours from Manchester to look at. The sheep built it. We have made the wool economically worthless. It now costs more to shear Doris than the wool is worth at market. The farmer shears her anyway because not shearing a sheep in summer is a welfare issue. The Yorkshire mill that has been processing British wool since 1887 is not running at capacity. The outdoor clothing industry is 70% polyester. The polyester sheds microplastics every wash. The microplastics are in the Irish Sea. The Irish Sea is not the woolsack. The woolsack is still in the House of Lords. Doris is on the fell. Doris has more where that came from.

Quick note for people who avoid British supermarket beef because it's "not grass-fed." Britain is an island in the North Atlantic with approximately 65% of its agricultural land classified as permanent pasture or rough grazing. The cattle are outside. On grass. Because where else would they be. The "grass-fed" label you're paying a premium for in the boutique online butcher is describing the default condition of all British beef cattle. You are already buying grass-fed beef. You've been buying it for years. From Tesco.
