The bible promises a better life elsewhere, it says that should be the goal. Conditioning the mind of those who believe in it to care less about the joy in this earth and focus on an imaginary place called heaven. That is why most nigerian christains are timid and poor. That is why they can't fight for a better country. They believe they will have a better life in an imaginary place called heaven.
