I’m really sad to hear that Sadie has passed away. She was a huge voice in the ‘MEGXIT’ crowd under the name of Yankee Wally, not just on Twitter but also YouTube.
She became an incredible friend to me through some really awful times, and yet all the while, she was being savagely attacked herself, by people not worth a mention.
She was an incredibly funny and witty woman, who made many people laugh including myself. She never cared what anyone thought and spoke true to what she believed. No matter what was thrown at her, she’d still find a way to make others smile. I feel very grateful to having known her. Rest in peace friend, you will be sorely missed and always remembered. ❤️
If you're the mother who was reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone aloud to your child on the LNER train from London to Edinburgh yesterday, one of my grown up children was listening and says you did the voices brilliantly❤️🥹
Your minimum base fitness level should be:
- 40 push-ups
- 8 pull-ups
- 100 squats
- 2km run without stopping
If this sounds unrealistic, you have SERIOUS work to do my boy.
Your Brain Has Reset Buttons Most People Never Use Them:
1. Overthinking? - Touch something cold & name 5 things you see. Your mind resets.
2. Sudden Sadness? - Sit up straight, look up, and smile for 20 seconds. Your brain follows your face.
3. Panic Feeling? - Count backwards from 100 in 7's. Forces your brain to switch mode.
4. No Motivation? - Tell yourself: "Just 2 minutes." Your brain will continue once you start.
5. Angry? - Hold your breath for 4 seconds, exhale for 8. Anger drops instantly.
6. Feeling Lost? - Write 3 things you can control today. Focus returns.
7. Can't Focus? - Chew gum. Proven to increase attention.
8. Feeling Alone? - Put your hand on your chest. Your heartbeat reminds you - you're still fighting.
This biggest workout mistake is changing your workouts every damn time you hit the gym. True progress is made when you stick to the same workouts while adding more weight or more reps. Please for the love of God stop changing your workouts.
Friendly reminder you should NEVER complain about having to workout.
You’ve been blessed with a fully capable body that can do incredible things, be GRATEFUL.
Some people would KILL for that.
Take full advantage of this blessing by working to build the best damn body you can.
One of the greatest cheat codes in life is to never get offended. Train yourself to have a thick skin. Don't take things personally. Let others disagree with you. Being easily offended means you're easily manipulated. Want more peace? Avoid getting offended.
