6 days ago, I shared a case where a merchant had zero chargebacks, was fully compliant, and had submitted legitimate documents yet his Shopify Payments appeal was still permanently rejected. Most people assumed the case was over. However, today the payout hold has officially been lifted, and the account has been reinstated. This result didn’t happen by chance. It happened because @Shopify doesn’t review cases based on documents alone their Trust & Safety team looks at risk level, business model, processing history, and overall stability Many issues cannot be solved through the standard appeal form alone You must know who to contact, how to escalate, and what information actually changes their internal risk score This is exactly why I always emphasize STRATEGY over panic.

Someone just reached out to me about this case. He has zero chargebacks, is fully compliant, and submitted his appeal with legitimate, properly verified documents yet his Shopify Payments was still permanently rejected. This is the reality most store owners don’t understand: On Shopify, simply submitting an appeal is not enough. In many cases, reinstatement is not based on documents alone it’s based on risk perception, business structure, processing history, and preventive strategy. Shopify must see your business as safe to scale with them before they ever reconsider a decision, your business maybe safe as anything but they must see it with proof which most time you can't do that through the appeal form you do feel in the email sent that's why it better to have alternative strategies just in case. That’s why I always say: You must be strategic, not emotional You must present a risk-free business model You must use the right alternate approaches You must know how to communicate with the right departments If you’ve already submitted an appeal and got rejected that is NOT the end of your business. There are still legitimate pathways to move forward. Sharing my losses too :) Got humbled today after hitting my record day on store yesterday Figuring out what went wrong here. Also my ads weren’t spending like yesterday which is weird Will let te same ads run for tomorrow and check performance + do more testing ofc

Day 7 (supplement store) and day 2 (clothing store). Once you learn how to do this shit once it’s rinse and repeat. Why don’t I have 5 stores? Building out a team on Upwork to delegate the meaningless tasks like emails, product pages, organic content posting is the BEST thing you can do. I pay an Indian 20 bucks a week to do ANYTHING I need done. The only thing I focus on is finding THAT product.
