Responses from conservatives to my argument that Poilievre should step down have convinced me he should not. If he is that loved among conservative supporters we should stick with him. Canadians don't like him, but they don't like us either.

Premier Ford’s comment about overcrowding in Ontario jails - “I don’t care if you stack them 10 high” - is despicable. Putting someone in jail holds them accountable. Treating them inhumanly says the govt also doesn’t respect law (or decency). How does that serve rehabilitation?

I thought to myself "why risk pissing off the public, when the majority is already just around the corner". I think the prospect of humiliating Gladu at the convention was just too big to pass up.
