Why are restaurants so expensive in the West?
I'm honestly asking.
In Asia people eat out almost every day, there are options cheaper than cooking for yourself.
But even "street food" is expensive here.
I paid $17 for 4 tacos out of a truck from a guy who spoke no English.

Anyway I learned yesterday that ppl with ADHD and/or autism often have really really REALLY strong senses of justice and fairness. So now I know why I react so strongly when ppl do things that are shitty. Don't do shitty things, guys! You'll stress out the ADHD/autistic folks!

Unironically, adding a walkable coffee shop and a pub to a suburban neighborhood would make them 10x more enjoyable and dynamic.
Imagine the run-ins you’d have every morning on your walk for coffee, or spontaneous games you watch with the dads at the pub.
Sounds kinda awesome.

I find myself having to use Grok more and more because of the ridiculous content restrictions in other AI models like Gemini. They have all these needless guardrails that won't let you do basic tasks (like sharpening an image of Ben Shapiro for a YouTube thumbnail).
