🚨 MISSION SUCCESS 🚨 @JIATFS & FSSC recently coordinated a multi-national tracking operation with partners in 🇲🇽 🇬🇹 🇨🇷 🇵🇦 to interdict an illicit aircraft. Constant surveillance across Central America led Mexican ground forces to seize 636kg of cocaine. 🇺🇸🤝🌎 @Southcom

JIATFS, @DEAHQ, and Colombian authorities tracked a high-speed vessel in the Eastern Pacific, leading to a flawless intercept by the Costa Rican Coast Guard. 67 bales captured and 2 operatives detained. This is how international teamwork brings systemic friction against cartels.

Applying total systemic friction on the cartels: #SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan visited @jiatfs today and spoke with U.S. and multinational leaders about how the task force is leading regional detection and monitoring efforts that are critical to the success of missions to disrupt narco-trafficking networks in the Western Hemisphere. The task force demonstrates excellence and precision on a daily basis, working with multiple regional partner nations to monitor and detect illicit trafficking across a 42 million square mile operating area. @USCG

A joint operation on April 20th led by @ArmadaColombia intercepted a Go-Fast vessel with 3.2 tons of marijuana, the largest load of marijuana ever stopped in Colombian waters, preventing drug-trafficiking organizations from reaping the profits.

1,708 kilograms of cocaine will never reach our streets thanks to the Dominican Republic's successful interdiction of a Go-Fast vessel near Pedernales, supported by JIATF-S intelligence and partnership with CBP Air and Marine Operations and Colombia. Every seizure saves lives.

With help from JIATFS, CBP AMO, and Colombia, Panama’s AERONAVAL stopped a Go-Fast vessel in the Eastern Pacific. The results: 359 kgs of cocaine and 886 lbs. of marijuana seized, plus 2 suspects apprehended. Together, we stop illicit drugs threatening our homes
