#SAR CGC Kingfisher’s crew assisted 6 people aboard a 37-foot vessel taking on water near the South Jetties in Charleston, S.C., Wednesday. Two crewmembers boarded the vessel and dewatered it, stabilizing the flooding before commercial salvage safely towed it to Ross Marina.

#USCG A U.S. Coast Guard Station Mayport boat crew assisted 3 people aboard a disabled 22-foot vessel 2 mi. east of the St. Johns River Entrance, Sunday.
With deteriorating weather approaching and the vessel unable to anchor, the crew safely towed it to the Mayport Boat Ramp.

Due to the sea state, the crew left the disabled vessel at anchor, embarked the mariners & transported them to shore. The vessel owners will coordinate its recovery.

#USCG crews assisted a man aboard a disabled sailboat 100 mi offshore Charleston, SC, Mon.
CGC Vigorous initiated the tow. The sailboat was later transferred to the CGC Coho for continued transit toward shore before being transferred to commercial salvage near Mayport, Florida.

#Breaking🚨A @USCG Station Miami Beach boat crew rescued 2 people w/o life jackets in the water, 4 miles east of Elliot Key, Sunday, after both individuals drifted away from their vessel for over an hour.

By land or sea, our borders are CLOSED. Last week, a @USCG crew out of Station Miami Beach encountered and disabled a vessel carrying 25 Chinese nationals attempting to enter our nation illegally. @CBP and @CBPAMO assisted following the interdiction, and @HSI_HQ initiated a criminal investigation. This sends a clear message to ANY illegal alien attempting to enter the United States: don’t even think about it.

The man was transported to St. Simons Island Airport, where he was transferred to EMS for further care.
