@VintageRockN_85 Van Halen. I'm not a big Van Halen fan but their first album was great from start to finish.

@MattTSabol I agree with you but it's the best the Steelers can do at this late date.

People happy with Rodgers' signing must have watched a different QB last year. He was mediocre at best and being another year older is just going to make him more timid and fragile. Just lost all enthusiasm that was left for the upcoming Steelers season

@TheFigen_ Reminds me of the people in Dealey Plaza who heard shots coming from the grassy knoll during the JFK assassination, which the Warren Commision said was wrong.

In 1982, Titanic survivor Ruth Becker said the ship broke in two — the Titanic Historical Society treasurer grabbed the mic and told her she was mistaken. Three years later, the wreck was found broken in half.

If you don’t realize what the significance of CHUD’s trial will be, regardless of the outcome, you are so fucking stupid you’re never gonna make it. (1) he’s acquitted, which sets a precedent, but also sends a MESSAGE that Whites are pushing back (2) he’s convicted and black ANIMALS have de facto license to murder you over words

@BPLyons11 @Todd_Spence Yeah first time I watched Casino, I thought this isn't as good as Goodfellas. In retrospect Casino is a great movie.

@Todd_Spence The only problem with Casino is that Goodfellas exists. I think it actually hurts its legacy a bit but they are both truly masterpieces 🖼️

@lukerosiak @GovMikeDeWine won't look for fraud because the federal government gives $1.83 for every $1 that Ohio spends. They make $.83 per dollar they spend!. It is literally PROFITABLE FOR OHIO TO LET FRAUD HAPPEN! We see you @GovMikeDeWine YOU FRAUD.

@ConiCon35577320 DeWine knew exactly what was going on. A couple of weeks ago he said corruption was the price of doing business in Ohio. Then Feds get involved and now he don't know nothin' about nothin'.

@WeWillBeFree24 Forget about what DeWine knew, I want to know how much did he get for allowing the fraud, especially with the Haitians which he has a relationship with. You know that DeWine, his friends and family were getting a cut of that fraud. It's the DeWine way.

DeWine seems a little nervous about the Ohio fraud. Faber putting out statements today. Plain and simple it happened, and they knew it. They imported all the Somalians, and Haitians. It was happening and they allowed the theft of billions of dollars, while our state was sinking. PS: Vivek has been working alongside the Ohio GOP for years. I'd be willing to bet, he knew too.
Governor Mike DeWine@GovMikeDeWine

Ohio takes all Medicaid fraud allegations seriously and will continue to work with the Trump Administration to proceed with several new fraud, waste, and abuse reforms immediately. Ohio has been a national leader in catching and prosecuting Medicaid fraud thanks to a strong partnership between Ohio Medicaid and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and its Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. Since the beginning of 2023, Ohio has secured 444 Medicaid fraud indictments, 481 convictions, and 146 civil settlements and judgments resulting in $78.4 million in recovered taxpayer funds. Thank you, @VP and @DrOzCMS, for your continued collaboration and support to fight fraud, waste, and abuse.

Today I announced several new fraud prevention initiatives to strengthen and build upon long-standing efforts to fight fraud, waste, and abuse in the Ohio Medicaid System. We are ready to begin these initiatives long in development that will enhance Ohio's nation-leading work and further protect taxpayer funds from those trying to defraud the State. bit.ly/48XXwvx

I’ve noticed the overwhelming majority of people upset about the term “cotton-picking hands” are not from the South. Do they not know white indentured servants existed in the South? I have ancestors who were indentured to wealthy plantation owners for several years upon arriving in the American colonies. Several of my ancestors picked cotton, harvested tobacco, and worked as blacksmiths alongside slaves for the colonial elite until their debt was paid. They weren’t treated much differently than slaves. While legally distinct, indentured servants were still considered property. They could be sold to other plantation owners and physically punished, just like slaves. Are they unaware that middle- and lower-class white Southern landowners who were not indentured servants picked cotton on their own farms with their own hands? Roughly 75% of Southerners, give or take a few percentage points, never had slaves. They suffered through the same back-breaking work as slaves and indentured servants. In short, the majority of white Southerners picked cotton by hand just like their black counterparts for several generations until the cotton gin became readily available. The only Southerners who never had “cotton-picking hands” were the extremely wealthy plantation owners who never had to do manual labor before or after the Civil War. What should be deemed controversial is just how many Northerners and coastal elites have watched “Gone With The Wind” once and just assume that’s how everyone down here lived during the 1800s.

Big banks hit you with overdraft fees. Insurance companies deny your claims. Drug companies jack up prices. Utility companies raise your rates. Jon Husted won't take them on because he takes their money. That's the difference between me and Husted.

@washghost1 There were a lot of actors from the 1960's and 1970's that seemed like they were just goofy comedic actors and then you find out that they were badass war heroes in real life.

@TheExtremeMusi1 Yes, I do. He could be mercurial, some of his stuff is great and some of it is rubbish but when he was good he was very good and original. He also was mercurial in his personal life so I guess his music was a reflection of his personality. Overall, a legend.
