If Trump wins, and it sadly looks like he will, remember what happened the last time he won in 2016. His term was so destructive, incompetent, and immoral, that he got crushed in 2020.
Tragically, many have forgotten how bad it was. Blinded by the "price of eggs" or something like that. But believe me, Trump will remind the country who he really is. And he will get destroyed again in 2028.
It's a tiny consolation and doesn't fix the current heartbreak. But it seems like it goes in cycles lately. Maybe by 2028 something profound will happen and we'll never choose eggs over the soul of the country again.

@RachelBitecofer This is a disaster either way. Even if she wins, which is 50/50, Trump has been an incoherent mess with virtually zero ground game anywhere in the country, and it's a coin flip. That doesn't even touch on him being a convicted criminal, adjudicated rapist, insurrectionist, etc.

If Harris does win, the Republicans should probably resist blaming women and wonder, instead, why they lost them and how to connect to them. Because shaming them, bullying them, and the lame ways they tried to connect are really unhelpful.

In Florida both Amendment 3 and 4 have majority support but both with fail because Florida Republicans rigged the system to require 60% to pass citizen initiatives.
They essentially filibustered direct democracy in FL.
