One of the simplest things for humans, but incredibly complex for machines, is anticipating the unpredictability of children. Here FSD rolls up in direct sun, spots the kid way before I did, and applies the brakes. But what came after stunned me. Another bike, and another, then a gap, and another bike (and a bonus scooter). At no time did FSD attempt to jump the gap between the children (even when it could have). There was no jitter or indecision. FSD just patiently waited until they all came around the corner and crossed the street. It stayed perfectly still so as not to scare the children. Just like a human would. I’ve seen a lot of amazing things with FSD, but this one really impressed me on a deeper level. As a father, I’m happy knowing more people are using Tesla FSD to keep their own kids safe and to ensure the safety of the kids on the road.

Today Tesla at Naperville Chicago received in the showroom the Cosmic Silver Model YL I stopped in after work to check it out. Notables: Cosmic Silver with Zen Grey interior Black headliner 16 inch screen Launch emblems throughout. Center armrest also Zen Grey Cooled wireless charging. 3rd row floor is slightly elevated but not bad Plenty of space for each row. (I’m 6 foot and fit in 3rd row easily) I love the 20 inch wheels. Look very premium Overall it feels very premium and well made. Does not have front fender and rear camera washers like the Robotaxi 😢 but front bumper cam does have washer.

With @Tesla FSD V14.3.5, the Tesla app now shows if the car is operating on FSD. 😎 Previously it was only available for HW3 cars, now it’s available for HW4. It’s the little things.

From a cost of dollars to smiles I don’t think there is a better EV than the @Tesla Model 3 Performance from a pure value proposition. Drives like my early 2000s BMW 3 series as a sports sedan but hella faster, incredible technology for infotainment, app integration & FSD. As a daily it’s a great size, fairly comfortable & amazing sound system. Okay range & decent charging. It’s kind of the Swiss Army knife of sedans, can do so many things well that it is as others have said before almost the perfect one car solution for the price point & value you get.
