After getting treated to Vanderbilt-Nebraska last night, we were due for a slugfest. This has been a brutal watch to be honest. I suppose you could say good defense but this is a pretty ugly game to watch

When someone is morbidly obese they have often formed an emotional bond with food. Not like “oh I could really go for some pizza” more like “food is the only thing that makes me happy” so it’s more akin to drug addiction than the average person that has 10-15 pounds they would like to lose.

Legit curious. On a cruise. Saw a woman who was probably 500 pounds, easy. Insanely fat. Needed a scooter to get around. Has 6 plates of food in front of her. Do these folks just,..not care that they are morbidly obese?

Implement a 24-second shot clock in college basketball. Thoughts!? Overseas starts a 24-second shot clock as early as 11 years old! More possessions and faster pace might lead to better play.

ideally, your gym routine should look like this: Monday – 2hrs (back & bicep) Tuesday – 2hrs (shoulder & triceps) Wednesday – 2hrs (full body) Thursday – rest Friday – 2hrs (leg day) Saturday – 2hrs (abs & chest) Sunday – rest day. do this consistently for one year and you will get your best body shape.

How is this not a technical foul for a player coming off the bench onto the court of play while there's time still on the clock? A rule is a rule is a rule.

@PatIABoiler @RefObserver17 There is definitely not a shortage of officials. Not at that level, the high school level yes but they are not short at the college level.

@RefObserver17 This is fairly typical for Big Ten crews, and not too far below the norm in college officiating. The officials shortage is going to kill fair outcomes in college basketball. The advent of the "art" of officiating by the NCAA is/was a huge mistake, enforce the rules as written.

I don't want to get into this any further but this Wisconsin-Illinois Quarterfinal has not been officiated at a high enough level. This is not an acceptable performance in my opinion. Their boss is in attendance as well.

@catighe @TheHoopHerald Sure. They actually only select 37 schools for the tournament. 31 schools automatically qualify as a result of winning thier conference tournament. Ws&Ls aren't the only factor. Your schedule matters. Often times who you loose to is as important as who you beat.

@TheHoopHerald So I am not a big basketball guy, can someone explain why that is? Like doesn’t the NCAA tournament take the top 68 teams or what have you? Surely a team that goes 28-1 would be in the top 68? Or are there other factors?

This is what coaching Mid Major Basketball looks like 28-0 and if they lose this game they are going to have to win the MAC Tournament to go to the NCAA Tournament Sick world
