Soooooooo I’ve decided to change an entire shelved manuscript from past to present and bring it back to life… It’s veeeeeeery slow going 😂 but I love it already! #WritingCommunity

@ashtaylorwrite1 Five chapters is good! I'm in the writing phase of one of my WIPs, and I feel like it has taken FOREVER to get to chapter nine.

@JSSaunders1721 Just gotta take it a page at a time 😂 I’ve been so frustrated with the pace. It’s been hours and hours and I’ve only gotten through five chapters 😮‍💨😂

@MetzgerKaty I was talking about this the other day. Writing is NOT a hobby, especially if you are traditionally published or even self-published. It's work...hard work, and people should respect that work.

I don't know how to respond when people call my writing a hobby. I have a 5-book deal with a small press, and I take it seriously. But I also don't make very much money, so I guess it's technically not wrong...🫠

I do not see how Mayor Adams can continue governing New York City. The flood of resignations and vacancies are threatening gov function.
