Got shared a video in an official FaZe work chat of a modded BO2 lobby with the new rebrand camo wrapped on a gun. Insanely cool video. Organically found its way to us. Took me a second to even realize it, but it was produced and uploaded by $MLG. Ran through the Twitter and it’s very clear off rip these guys really come from the culture and been around since OG MLG cod lobby era of gaming. The golden age as I would refer to it. Jokingly and just based off appreciating the effort I blindly retardedly fired 50 SOL ($10,000) into it. Which prompted their team to add me to their community dm chat. Immediately felt $MOG vibes in terms of how active and coordinated it feels. Chart expressed conviction too. Idk how to explain it or quantify it, just good vibes. Strong vibes. Never had met or talked to any of these people prior. Also immediately got tweets from familiar faces I respect like @DeeZe @SolJakey @notsoeasymoney telling me this wasn’t a retarded move, but in fact a real play. Between those 2 things and the fact this shits the most FaZe Banks coded shit on chain I had to take another 50 SOL shot. So yes I’ve exposed $20,000 of real money to a fucking memecoin called $MLG. Does this make me retarded? Was retarded way before this. Should I expect to lose every dollar? Always, you should always consider investments like these total losses, until realized. End of the day I participated and basically helped build this $MLG culture and these memes, this aesthetic, this identity 15 years ago, how could I not? Unironically always early.
