Everyone has been ok with property surging to ridiculous highs via many inflating policies. But one change gets made that MAY cause prices to pull back 5% or 10% and literal hell breaks loose. The narrative around property being risk free needed to be broken regardless

@ryu_tay Dont worry - with the slowdown that’s about to hit, plenty of these guys along with real estate agents will be looking for other jobs. The cheap suits and leased cars they get around in will go with them.

Is it just me or there’s been a flood of “buyers agents” all over Australia? Where have they all suddenly popped up from? I struggle to believe normal mum and dad or John or Lisa willing to pay 30k - 60k for someone to buy a property for them 😳 And a lot of these “agents” are so young and claimed to have sold over xxx properties for xxx clients 🤷🏻‍♂️

Question: Why were the capital gains tax changes applied to all assets, rather than just residential property? Answer: We wanted to drive more investment away from residential and towards more productive assets. Translation: It doesn’t make sense and I don’t have a good answer, so I'll talk down to you about indexation. Observation: The fact Albo would take this interview and respond in such a way shows he’s taking this young woman and others like her for mugs.
