Camilo Doval is so unbelievably frustrating to watch. The stuff is some of the nastiest in all of MLB and if he could locate it with any consistency he’d be one of the best relievers in MLB. But he can’t locate it consistently and that’s me being nice about it. Not sure what the fix is because I’m not a pitching coach, but it has to get better if Doval is going to be a high-leverage guy this season.

@pamsson Self-inflicted, non-sensical decisions. Early season, late season doesn't matter. It's exactly what cost them the division by a game last season. All this matters, but this team has the brain of a goldfish and makes everyday an adventure down ass lane.

The Yankees need to get going now. That was an awful game. Weathers was bad. The bullpen was bad. That overthought lineup was bad. I understand some of this is how baseball goes and early season stuff but some of it is just bad play. They need to be better.

Imagine you are a working father living in the Midwest, you make 75k a year. You can support your family, but you're not rich. You worry about paying for college. Then you read about some Somalian stealing $1m out of federal healthcare programs. $1 million for the normal guy would eliminate an enormous amount of his stress. The college thing would be covered. Retirement wouldn't appear so daunting. It's why guys like this buy lottery tickets. And instead he pays into the system and watches "newcomers" make a complete ass out of him. This fraud is bad financially, but it just makes a mockery of all the hard work of normal people and tears away at the social fabric.

@elonmusk Dissent should be a principal at all companies. To view it negatively is a barrier to innovation.

As a Gen Xer, I can tell you boomers and even my own generation comparing their 20s to today’s 20-30 year-olds needs to stop. I paid $600 for a West Hollywood apartment at 23. Today it’s $3500. Burgers weren’t $20, they were $6 to $8 in a nice restaurant. Life is not comparable. It’s a completely different world now.
