Minnesota DHS did *not* refer any of the kickback allegations to law enforcement. One of the providers is still receiving taxpayer money. How is a kickback not fraud? A new audit found that Minnesota’s DHS would not investigate allegations of kickbacks in welfare programs, wrongly believing it was not authorized to do so. The cases didn’t get referred to law enforcement either!
