I’m sure you didn’t watch the game because we did not crush Canada. They outplayed us, but our goalie was the best player on the ice today. Canada is a great team, but the USA found a way to get it done. Congrats to all of our players and coaches and all the people that supported the players.

Do Canadians realize why the world is enraged and disgusted by Marc Kennedy? The fault was minor. The true crime was the cover-up. “I didn’t f***ing touch it!” he screamed despite being filmed in 4K; then he denied the video, doubled down, and accused Sweden of cheating for catching him. All it took to rectify was an apology in front of the cameras. Instead? No shame. No apology. Just entitled, obstinate preening and victimhood. That smarmy meltdown isn’t an outlier. It’s the Canadian national character in full bloom: entitled to the max and convinced of their own moral superiority while spitting on the Olympic spirit. That’s a bad look. No wonder everyone else sees the rot behind the Canadian politeness act.
