@uncreativetom Basically 224mph is an obscene speed and there’s nowhere capable of testing trains at that speed. We either send the trains to China to test, build a test track or introduce hs2 with phased speeds. Start at 200mph is what they’ve suggested and go from there

What I see here is what I’ve always seen from the club - 100% total transparency and clarity, some other clubs would do well doing the same… Radcliffe are very fortunate (like a lot of football clubs) to have an excellent owner who puts his own money into the club. A club that’s needed huge infrastructure investment over the last couple of years. A fortune spent on the best pitch in the league. A ground invested in to become NLN compliant ie floodlight upgrades, turnstiles, food kiosks, fan zone etc. A lot of money (clearly) has been invested into the football club - it needed it as it was previously left to rack and ruin. A club budget or club spend is different to what a first team budget is… There’s a saying in business, you have to speculate to accumulate and that’s exactly what the owner has done, again like many other football clubs owners have done. But I’ll repeat, there’s huge difference between a club budget (football club spend) and first team budget… So relax, Jordan Hulme is still the top earner at the club on £300 a week 👍

@KieranMaguire The balance sheet isn’t the greatest of looks and don’t know Radcliffe. However knowing the NLN even PT teams your wage bill is usually somewhere around 400k a season. The question is have other things been spent as long term investiment ie new pitch, facilities, ground upgrades
