News24 wants us to believe that Jan v Riebeeck dominated school history books until recently removed. He was written out long ago, along with everything that doesn't comply with ANC/News24 ideology. Learn history, but not from the government & its ideological mouthpiece, News24.

@EVCurveFuturist Hey retard. In 2024 64% of all renewable energy in Denmark was biomasse/woodpellets. Yes we chop Down trees or import Wood and burn it and Call it renewable energy. The gaslighting of the century. And poofters like you either dont know or just ignore this fact.

Denmark didn’t “transition” its grid—it replaced it. ~15% → 92% renewable electricity in 25 years. Wind did the heavy lifting. Solar is scaling. Interconnection balanced. Flexibility solved variability. Wind built it. Solar is scaling. Fossil lost it. This IS system replacement.

The 8 plagues inflicted on white South Africans by the afro-Marxist regime: 1) Education (BELA Bill eroding school autonomy) 2) Healthcare (NHI nationalization) 3) Property (EWC racial confiscation) 4) Commercial Participation (B-BBEE race scorecard system favoring racial ownership, management, and procurement) 5) Employment (Employment Equity Act mandating demographic targets in hiring, promotions, and training) 6) Safety (farm attacks downplayed and prioritization refused) 7) Targeting (court-protected hate chants like 'Kill the Boer')” 8) Race Quotas (in University applications, sports, bursaries, etc.)

Everywhere I turn, people in our area are sick. All have some form of diarrhea. Ranging from splattering the walls to the total and absolute screaming shits. Kids are sick. Adults are sick. And now I'm beginning to suspect if the useless DA municipality in Cape Town Metro is not actually doing it's job, keeping us safe. The water purification plants must be investigated urgently and immediately. I think we're facing an epidemic where bacteria infect the average person drinking tap water. I for one do not believe this is viral. It's been doing it's rounds for way too long now. I maintain we are suffering a waterborne disease that can be fatal. C'mon @CityofCT. Speak up. We demand the truth!

There was no country of South Africa in 1652. There were Bantu tribespeople of about 800,000 in number from the Limpopo River to the Kei River and possibly a bit further south. In the south west part of the land, the people were the Khoi Khoi and the San stretching up to the Orange River and beyond. There were no schools, no universities, no harbours, no paved roads, no written languages, no sea going vessels, no industry, no monetary currency, no multi storey buildings and no Industrial Revolution. The whites came, uninvited, to build a refreshment station to service the VOC ships plying their trade between the Spice islands and the Netherlands. They settled in Cape Town and surrounds. Then the Brits arrived and you know the rest. What these settlers brought is access to the benefits of the Industrial Revolution which made South Africa the greatest economic powerhouse in Africa. This has been an enormous benefit to South African people of all stripes. Of course it’s not been without problems but it catapulted us South Africa into the modern world. There was a functioning society before 1652 but the technology brought in by the settlers was invaluable and the black peoples have embraced those benefits wholeheartedly. And rightly so.

👉🏽This is essential - too little too late but a step in the right direction South Africa did NOT start in 1652 with colonisation by the white man. Black South Africans have been subjected for far too long to a white washed history

@QB_Trailers @Askash If it's misty, raining or I'm tired from a trip, I use the tunnel. Else I go over for the scenery and baboons.

@Askash Have always used a tunnel when traveling that route but an acquaintance who lives in Cape Town recommended the Du Toitskloof Pass for the wonderful views. So yeah, next CPT trip, I'm definitely going the Toitskloof route.

The longest road tunnel in Africa is just outside Paarl, South Africa, and it’s getting a R4 billion upgrade🚇 Over 100 million vehicles have passed through the 3.9km Huguenot Tunnel since it opened in 1988. The current daily average of vehicles passing through the tunnel is 13,000, saving them up to 26 minutes compared to the Du Toitskloof Pass. This has also saved an estimated 5.5 million barrels of fuel to date. When engineers first drilled the mountain in the 1980s, they actually made two tunnels. However, they only finished the inside of one (the South Bore). The second one (the North Bore) has been sitting empty and unused for 40 years. Right now, the Huguenot Tunnel is like a narrow two-way street squeezed into a single tube. Cars going in opposite directions have to share the same space. This upgrade is all about opening the second tunnel to create 4 traffic lanes. Once finished, the tunnels won't be two-way anymore. One tunnel will have two lanes in one direction, and the other will have two lanes in the opposite direction. Another interesting element is the potential HQ for a "First for Africa" Lab. Stellenbosch University is eyeing the site for the Paarl Africa Underground Laboratory (Paul). If it goes ahead, we’re looking at Africa's first-ever subterranean nuclear physics lab hidden within our infrastructure. What are your thoughts on a high-tech physics lab next to a major highway tunnel? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

The Du Toitskloof Pass is a beautiful drive when you're not in a hurry! The Huguenot Tunnel is a 'tight squeeze' so it's a great plan to do 2 tunnels. Regarding the nuclear stuff, I've been to Pelindaba in Pretoria a couple of times as well as Koeberg back in the day. South Africa has very smart people in STEM fields so I say - Go right ahead 'cause nuclear power can fix a lot of things when done right!

@Askash They should do something about law enforcement. Last Saturday a truck in front of me passed another vehicle (not allowed) in the mist. On the section between the toll gate and entrance. I'm not surprised there's so many accidents.

Does anyone know who benefited from the Black Industrialists Fund? What did we get for our money? What were the deliverables? On what terms was the money disbursed? Was it all wasted on blue sports cars?

Jacob Zuma's MK Party has submitted yet another private members' bill in which it wants to change the constitution to allow full-blown expropriation without compensation. They also want land claims to go back to 1652. Video Link: youtu.be/w75g68_tNL0
