The girls insisted on him being in their championship photo. He was known for his community involvement and his dedication to putting student safety over rule enforcement which is a tremendous departure from the prevailing norms of school district policing in Texas. Heartbreaking for his family, community, department and Hitchcock’s students. We never know what people are going through. We should all be a bit nicer.
