@SonRanto I got my aventon level 2 for 1200 on FB marketplace and the difference in quality between this one and my old one that cost ~700 is huge. Front suspension is so worth. Radpowerbikes has some good ones for around 1000 that you can catch on sale sometimes

One thing that was funny in the WBC was watching people look for literally any excuse possible to root against the US. Like really grasping at straws. I’m as liberal as they come (actively hoping for you know who to you know what) but you can root for team USA AND hate trump #WBC

@casey__m Even the Italian team that doesn't have a huge local fanbase in America has felt more electric because the players had to earn their spots, they're having fun, and they clearly want to be here. USA looks like they're going through the motions

I went to a northside Chicago organizing meeting and the room was 75% women between 25-40. They are currently setting up smaller social gatherings to build community and build local power. There is no male loneliness epidemic. Only a bunch of losers who are too weak sauce to do anything.

Supposedly an unprecedented 2.2 million turnout with 60% above 45 years old. I am going to be an optimist and say @andrewcuomo is going to get the win. If he fails to win, it’s because @CurtisSliwa cares more about himself than NYC. Let’s never forget that. If Andrew wins, he is going to be a great mayor. Why? Because he will owe nothing to the Democratic Party and he will be working only for his legacy. He can therefore do whatever is right for NYC for the long term without worrying about the political consequences. @realDonaldTrump is going to want to work with Cuomo to Make NY Great Again, MNYGA. Say: ManyGA I think the President and Cuomo respect each other which increases the chances they will work well together. We will know supposedly by 9:30pm. Say a prayer.

Chicago is in very, very serious trouble with its current leadership. A mayor too incompetent to encourage growth and a slew of alderman on both the right and the left with far too much power to limit the minimal growth actually occurring.

Alderman Hopkins has announced his decision to block a proposed development that would have brought 500 new apartments and a grocery store to Old Town Chicago. The tower was projected to bring in $2.5 million per year of property taxes for the City of Chicago. It would have 400 market rate apartments, and 100 affordable units as mandated by the Affordable Requirements Ordinance. There are many towers in the area with the same height. The proposal fits the 'neighborhood character'. The city just had its credit rating lowered, and elected officials in wards where new housing can pencil out are busy restricting investment into the city. The inmates are running the asylum. Actions speak louder than words @AldermanHopkins. You have forfeited your ability to complain about rising property taxes ever again.
